Me duno car...but logically 'P' for assist only... just like what you gonna do to ya MT when park kat slope. On Mt you engage gear + ebrake... logic ni macam when ebrake fails your car wont hump 9 other car or kill someone as there still a fail safe method to prevent the car from moving.
