Tak abis abis EO. Btw ws2 make engine run quieter. No increase in power according to my butt dyno, fc remains the same.
Eo shell ultra pure plus. Testing done... 3k km. Gonna get rid of this ws2 soon as ws2 will increase corrosion rate according to angmoh military study. :star: |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 12 2014, 03:49 PM) i had ws2 poured in first eo change (with the amsoil, and liqui moly ceratec too) U can get it from boitg. Hard for me to dig the link out from my hp.but with the cost involved... i might as well just whack motul 300v and actually save money from it >.> btw got link to ws2 corrosion rate study/article? interesting to find out myself. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 12 2014, 03:52 PM) BITOG i assume? you help me find la, i don't really visit BITOG that much, they too crazy jor lol. Nah... http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/a536171.pdf -source from bitog.as the "joke" goes, using their (bitog members) used oil also better than cap ayam/fake EO outside (especially vastlyĀ sold in Malaysian market) Gonna do more study before feeding anymore more crap on my engine. anyway moly aka mos2 seems like a ok stuff, some mustang guy do a tear down comparing his cam 70k km(rp oil) with others on mobil1 30k km. Rp with moly seems able to maintain the cam condition like new. Somewhat can conclude that moly would be a better additives for engine. This post has been edited by nicotine: Nov 12 2014, 04:16 PM |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 12 2014, 04:17 PM) much thanks for the info bro Yes indeed it's a very grey area, additives such as ws2 memang lack of proper testing result or report, it's just like ya old skol RM8.00 500ml cap Aladdin oil supplement or stp treatment. Create few vid, add Nano tech on the label then it sold like hot cakes. Didn't really know it's a bad stuff until found that report recently. Further google shows that it's use mainly as coating/ dry lube. and yes, additives are very gray area and most of the time they don't have proper certifications/backing behind them. like ws2, it's re-packaged in Malaysia/Singapore/indon, vs plain engine oil that's backed by huge brands/companies with millions/billions dumped into R&D. the latter seems a lot safer. liqui moly is also a big name, and mos2 is something that butt dyno can feel. however my concern is that their higher end products doesn't include it, nor do all of their products have API certification. european ACEA directories are also not publicly accessible unfortunately so my bias is towards the French/Americans that still have strong API certification provided. the sad part is feeding my engine additives ultimately costed me more money (and worse, considering what you linked) than going to just plain high end motul 300v engine oils. btw the amsoil lab report i linked, moly content quite decent, about 400+ ppm with zinc at 800 lol As for LM... me no oil engineer... I believe that balance of chemical composition is what those big company is trying to maintain in their mocktail. To provide good lubrication, cleaning and higher oci since it's a mass consumer product. There could be possibility of different chemical reaction with other anti wear and cleaning agent when they mixed them in hence they decided to ditch that mos2 out to attain stability in their blend. Or it's cost factor, increase in 10cent in every bottle in production could translate to losing few million profit. just my wild theory. QUOTE(mytmnet @ Nov 12 2014, 05:31 PM) apa macam ada baik ? Me try before RM12 brahdal 1, it make mah engine damn 9 heavy and lazy for the first 1~2k km. |

QUOTE(kancs3118 @ Nov 23 2014, 12:13 PM) Aiyohhh....don't be so sarcastic... My auntie geh son geh neighbour geh mother geh son in law geh wife who happen to work in protin told me its a campro. Don't mislead ppl ok. For the money RM75K, Protin Inspira give good value for money. Can outrun the apa nama Vios 1.5 ....What i mean - is that whether the quality of the interior for Protin 1.8(M) is comparable to Protin 2.0 (E)? Me no like auto...like to play with manual gear stick more.... Just wondering., the seat for 1.8 the same with 2.0? I know - stupid question. I don't care about the fabric. I can simply change the fabric cover to leather outside of Protin. But i definitely cannot change the seat....so, just wanna make sure the seat for 1.8M is the same with 2.0(E). The engine + gearbox sure from Mitsu one...no fear,,,,i heard the Mitsu MIVEC engine very reliable and gear box also very reliable...my Wira already 20+ years = using Mitsu engine...still tahan until today~! Problem with Wira is the power window + dashboard always koyak/ rattling...scared will be the same with Protin Inspira....since local assembly. Me wanna trust Protin, but Protin punya reputation really no good~! Sponsor me to Holland many times liaw... |

QUOTE(kancs3118 @ Nov 23 2014, 03:57 PM) Yah - honestly, i don't much about cars langsungĀ You drive vios, your father mother in law will look highly on you. U get better face value, better treatment. U drive inspira ... you fil n mil dont even bother to talk with you. Coz in thier mind you are just a another poor bas.t.a.rd who can't make enuf $$ to give thier dotter a happy life. In other word they hate you. Lol. The thing i look out for is reliability - and low cost of ownership/ maintenance.....and can tahan lama lama - about 10 years plus.... Seems like i got anal by BN again....sighhh On maintenance part. Normal service around 300, full sync oil + filter + labour. On fuel, Rm 100 get you roughly 450km~500km. With new anal policy such as no more subsi... we might pay more in the future.
