QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Nov 12 2014, 05:12 PM) The asc all been talking is not a third party asc. It is actually a lancer asc harvest from lancer vehicle (mostly us n aus). Malaysia lancer does not comes with it does not mean the car does not have. It is refitted as factory spec and Calibrated properly. So that means, we cant actually get it here and have to source from overseas?

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Nov 12 2014, 07:53 PM) Most halfcut vehicles are from overseas. Country like japan have high living cost which directly means the workmanship for mechanics are freaking expensive. With cheap cars, if any accident happen.. The owner rather scrap it as buying a new one would mean it comes with warranty and cheaper as well.. Hence these wreck cars does not fetch much of value where they scrap it. And these malaysian halfcut will purchase it at a cheap price and ship back to malaysia to be sold as used spareparts.. And unlike what professor jay claimed, no halfcut dun bring in massive accident cars, as these junk fetch no value in terms of spareparts(mostly damage). We either source from local halfcut shops or some ship from overseas. Roughly how much?? But who knows how to install???

QUOTE(woe.com @ Nov 14 2014, 09:39 AM) After read PROF post, I feel I learn so much knowledge frm him, I dunno Mat97LAN point he talking, but as far I understand is something like this, let me summarize what he mention: 1. (talking fuel + GB + Engine + Segment) Forte = 4AT = JPN GB use < 15KM/L fuel and Forte Engine beating Honda Accord, Civic & Elantra with 9KM/L fuel. Then korean made their adv kimchi GB but uses 16-17KM/L... but no mention this adv GB (and how adv) use in which kimchi car 2. (talking adv engine) Europe car having the most adv engine & uses fuel less than Prius & "crawl?" like Sheety (he watch top gear too much) 3. (talking Torque) Lion (1400rpm) win9LAN liao Then refer back ppl's topic: "Hyundai Elantra Sport VS Toyota Altis, Which one worth buying???" I lagi dunno what Mat9lun7chat you tok. But since its from Prof Jay. I agree and support!

QUOTE(kancs3118 @ Nov 22 2014, 11:46 PM) Hi guys, looking to buy the Proton INspira 1.8 (M). Just concerned that from some of the reviews, the interior of the 1.8(M) is considered inferior compared to 2.0 (E). An example is the car seat. 1.8(M) is fabric whilst 2,0 (E) is leather. No big deal here since i can upgrade from fabric covered seat to leather. But then, how about the seat (without the cover)? Are the seat itself (without the cover) the same between 1,8(M) vs. 2,0(E)? Besides the seat, i am being told some of the interior parts for 1.8(M) is of inferior quality to 2.0 (E). THings like the plastic knob used for air con and stuff like that? Besides, given that the current inspira models are considered 60% local content and 40% foreign content, how are things looking up for the INspira purchased in 2015 next year? Also, how is the assembly quality? Good or mediocre or so - so? I heard that each of the INspira rolling out from Proton's line is quality certified to Mitsubishi standard. GB is not from Mitsu lah...it use a Jatco gearbox (Nissan)...same as the one use in Slyphy..(spelling could be wrong...never know how to spell that car properly). I dunno about the new batches..my 2011 batch, seriously, assemby and material better than my new Honda City. This post has been edited by Matrix: Nov 24 2014, 07:57 AM
