Double Tap to Wake exists on Z3C or not anyway? If it enable, how was your battery drain on Idle mode?
*
I also activated when I got the phone, so useful, until the phone keeps turning on in my pocket. unsure.gif

That's so tempting right now ...... should I wait for Lollipop and see how that improves my Z1C ... or should I ...... unsure.gif

eh, so fast wanna change to dual SIM? blink.gif
jumping from Z1C? then i dont really recommend you to change to Z3C. smile.gif
AFAIK, Z1C battery is performing like beast as well.
*
But the Z3C looks so much slimmer and slicker than the Z1C.

from the beginning i activated the double tap to wake function.
so i can't tell you the difference.
But i guess the impact on battery is minimal.
You will still get SOT around 4-5 hours.
*
I don't worry about the SOT, but the idle mode, my OnePlus One with double tap to wake can drain 1% per hours with no WiFi/GPS/Data due to CM11S lack of optimization for the ROM itself.

Yes, rooting will get rid of the bloat wares. But please keep in mind rooting will also get rid of your warranty as well. laugh.gif

and Camera performance as well for Xperia range device.

QUOTE(edge85 @ Oct 27 2014, 11:12 PM)
this is my 2nd android phone, but if you ask me the bloatware level is minimal. can turn most of them off.

even with the so called bloatware, you can still manage a 1 day++ standby with almost 6h of sot. i believe many rooted phones can't even have such insane battery life.

what i'm curious now is, do rooted z3c last as long as a stock z3c? just curious if the battery management is hardcoded into the stock ROM.

from my Z3 experience. idling with tap to wake drains 1% every 2 hours without any connectivity. STAMINA mode not turned on.

It's good, but not as good as the Z3C. lol. I'm thinking to wait and see if Android Lollipop will get it to the level I don't care about battery anymore.

dont under estimate the power of OPO.

all feature on (ok, bluetooth off): wifi, nfc, double tap, gestures, auto-sync, auto backup, auto update. no stamina (well of course no such function in OPO), location high accuracy, all on :

Does it permanently goes ? It seems the article mentioned it will reappear again due to the MyXperia service.

Anyone can advise how to lock the screen without using the power button ?
