i hope my glitches is not hardware problem and just software bug ... hope can do full restore and fresh start maybe can solve it.....

on my first day of getting it i dropped it TWICE..... once while in bathroom.... listening to music and didnt know the vibration from playin music loudly caused my phone to move around and drop from my basin....

second time while getting in car my phone slipped out of pocket and onto the concrete road...

my heart sink deeply but in the end glass is scratch free and no cracks.... only small problem is i hv a TINY dent on the bottom side of the metal band ... THX GOD...need a case sooon....

got a tiny dent on bottom lo... so far i used it while showering and i took some picture underwater in swimming pool ... so far so good... damn lo if really got water damage its not covered by warranty .... omg...

I dont see running android kitkat makes any difference compared to 4.3.... in terms of RAM usage.... it only seem to benefit stock kitkat ... so as long as you have any custom skin of kitkat just go with 3gb ram...

mine running around 6 apps in background already takes up 2.3 GB of ram...

gah why no firmware updates from sony ?? so confident that their software cant be improved further?

I also used the pc companion to update... It's very slow even with 20mbps unifi wtf... Can't believe what modern time we live in still can't do OTA for simple firmware update..

Not only that the other day I used it to backup my phone before I reset my phone..... I tried to restore it back it always stuck half way and always fail..
Wtf.. Useless pc companion software..

why i check using xperia update still says no update available... im still on 23.0.A.2.93
even after stupid long update using pc companion, still the version remains the same....

this is my first sony smartphone so i dont know how is SUS.... i just know for now im confused... why i still need to use a pc software to update my phone firmware?? are there any OTA firmware updates ? or is that stupid xperia update only can help u update SONY apps only..... cuz thats what i experience so far...

the last time i ever use a pc to update my phone firmware is back when i was using iPhone 3gs wtf...

AND i really hope sony continues updating their z3 even if z4 or even z5 come out......

i managed to get the most SOT of my whole smartphone life ever yesterday .... i got 5 hours 35 min SOT!!without any power saving mode on.... which is amazing cuz i usually get around 4 hours plus.... total usage was 23 hours yesterday , im moderate heavy user but i dont play games on my phone..

as for camera can say for sure is better than nexus camera lo.... There is a reason so many reviewers say that the xperia line of camera since z2 is named one of the best ANDROID cameras ... The auto mode is not accurate at times in terms of exposure and white balance. so you can always switch to manual mode if u wan total control and even take TRUE 20 MP photos...

Video after tweaking the various autofocus and metering settings will produce great videos... I LOVE the intelligent active stabilization , its as great if not better than OIS!! Keep in mind Video also have Manual mode which lets u select 60 fps recording which auto mode doesnt select for u ....


I would say the only bad thing with u coming from nexus is that you wont get stock android and the lastest android release as nexus haha...... other than that the xperia UI is smooth as butter and if u really miss stock go install google now launcher lo....

for me this phone really made me satisfied on my android phone where as i almost lost hope on my previous 2 android phones... THIS PHONE NEEDS to sell more as it truly deserves it..!!

HELP! Has anyone tried the xperia privilege movies app? It was suppose to give us free movies for owning an xperia z3 series product... The app is privilege movies 3.0
It says it need voucher code from xperia lounge but there's isn't any!! Damn it...

if u read the app info on play store the offer is valid for users of xperia z3 in Malaysia .... so dont see why not dont have..

IF z1 and z2 have then for sure z3 must have thats why there is privilege movies 3.0 app.... for z2 is 2.0...

maybe they will release the offer soon...

NO such warranty for damage related to water............ so prepare to pay HUGE amount of money to fix if got damage .... plus sony rapair service got quite bad reputation so plz dont ask for trouble by testing warranty.... saved u all some trouble hv fun!

Anyone can give us best tips for taking photos using manual mode for us that are not photographers? U guys use scene mode? Or put resolution at full 20 mp?

It's like that did a complete 180 turn on what they said in their review....

Well at least one thing I agree on with them: xperia has the worst panorama mode in all of android.. Period..seriously what they were thinking...

Hmm standby is awesome in stamina mode since it doesnt on data and wifi when screen is off.... today morning i wake up and find out my battery decrease only 1% ! after 7 hours of sleep....

without stamina mode is kind of mix , somedays i get good standby and sometimes i get where after a nite sleep it decrease 15 % , still i find it better than the other android phones i tried..... standby time is very subjective and each person is always different thats why i cant trust when a reviewer says bla bla phone has awesome standby time but when i use it SUCKS big time....

why dont just on clearaudio+ ? make everything sound way louder n better no?
if i dont use clearaudio i find that its VERY soft unless u put MAX volume..... at least clearaudio i can put around 65-70% then is loud enough
