Hmm.. this is my first Sony phone like after more than 10 years. Switched from note 2 > mi3 > Z3 but apparently im at this point of time not really happy with the phone sad.gif Wanna update firmware also takes more than 2 hours sad.gif only available via PC companion only and not OTA like samsung, xiaomi... Sighhhhhh...

Oh.. there's a later software update.Or have you updated it still facing the same issue?

I have been fooled by this stupid Sony Pc companion. Stuck with it for more than 2 hours thanks to the very slow server they have there, eventually updated the exact same firmware build before it has been updated. What is Sony doing....??? Their hardware is marvelous but their software support is terrible.....

If you type in Google, WiFi drop issue on Xperia Z.. Bunch of links and forums appeared. It seems to be a common issue. I even tried mapping my mac address to my router. My signal is like full bar yet it just doesn't download anything suddenly.

I will get back to you once I updated the demo unit at my outlet. Normally is line or user problem, which I think it's pretty rare.

The Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, and Z3 Tablet Compact are joining the PS Vita in being able to stream and play PlayStation 4 games away from the console. Starting in November, the three members of the new Z3 family will allow you to play your PS4 games directly on their screens so long as they are on the same Wi-Fi network as the big games machine.

is it only me and mangoheng having WiFi dropping issue? I need WiFi for working purpose also.. Really hope to find a solution for this. Have followed most instructions from the internet including settling 5ghz band in the router. Still it never gets to complete an update or stay connected for 10 seconds before it goes down again.

not sure if its the issue from the router itself because i am using Z Ultra and it can still receive wifi signal where my room is at 2nd floor and the router is at 1st floor. but last time, i do have the Wifi dropping issue where i cant receive a single line of signal at all.
