cerberus + smart lockscreen protector : gooding

smart lockscreen protector disables any reboot or power buttons, be it software or hardware when the device in locked.

I advise buying phone insurance. Just pay rm20+ a month for first 6 months. Theft is covered and u get new replacement.

Some noob question. If you grant SU to some previous app. Where and how to revoke that permission?

At the SU app (e.g. SuperSu), select that app then revoke the permission.

Does smart lock screen protector prevents long pressing the phone button from shutting down?

long press will restart the phone. will not power off

bear in mind, cerberus + smart lock screen protector will only work on normal thieves

if they send the device to a experienced user or shop, everything can be wiped

just plug in the device into any pc with adb, reboot recovery > delete everything > flash new rom

cerberus can only survive factory reset.

smart lock screen protector can only survive on device power off

1) is your sim card lte sim card?
2) what rom are you using?
3) did u read page 1 on how to solve network issues?

Once u have done so you can ask again,  as many postings are oblivious to the time and effort put together by TS on page 1.

im also a celcom postpaid user. no problem with LTE so far.

u need to check 2 things:
1. do you have the latest sim card that supports LTE? if not go to any celcom branches and change to the supported micro sim.

2. you need to call celcom service centre to enable LTE on your line. there is a SMS command for it, but from my experience, it does not work. hence, personally calling the service centre is the fastest solution
*
Noted with thanks guys.. upon checking .. seems my sim card is not LTE enabled

Just flashed MIUI V5 stock camera apk on my phone with stock CM11S 33R rooted. Stable and fast. Image quality also top notch. Only no HDR.

Stock CM11 camera app sucks. Google camera also mediocre. Lenovo app too clunky. Will continue to use this on a daily basis.
