hi, i'm the buyer here. this is my story.... i went home and charge the phone for the FIRST TIME and it charged smoothly for 1/2 an hour then it stop charging. i try to plug in again and it din't work. Today i try to charge again using my fren charger also dun work then i bring to shop and they said phone got problem(charger port or ic prob). repair will cost me rm45-60. if the repair below than rm20 i will just ignore it and accept my mistake. so i sms him and told him the problem and he gave 1 solution to buy a desktop but i dont like the idea that i have to bring 2 battery everywhere i go. try to get refund fr him but he refused because of there is no waranty given. so i sms him that i'll ask an opinion fr ppl here. then i noticed he already open a thread. if that is 2nd or 3rd time charging i think it ok le because of used item but that is my FIRST TIME. i understand your warranty crazyrock, and i only want to hear others opinion if this is my lost no problem.
there's 1 more thing, you said in yr thread that yr phone age is 2+ years, but why at the back of the phone it show year 2002. for me 2+ means 2-3 years. but i accept this is my mistake cause i didn't check it during cod since you look like in rushing and u put the sim card by yr self.

i onli ask for opinion here pls understand n i seldom online to answer any questions. thanks

Uhm....normally personal warranty are 7 days...
And FYI, 2nd hand phones sold by shops are warrantied for 1 month ad most of them dont even provide warranty.

You are not guilty..bad luck for him i guess..
Thats the risk for buying 2nd hand items

after reading this thread, i can consider that CrazyRock is a good seller.
about the yr, 1 or 2 out of 10 persons will look at the manufacturing date.
no warrantee, means no warrantee. buy at ur own risk.
CrazyRock can offer a desktop charger consider a bonus in a transaction.

for me he is not a good seller but a good person because he should provide warranty for every item he sell. about the year, when we trade in phone to shop they will surely check the manufacturing date.

Thank you guys for ur suggestion. If reparing the charging port for nokia 3610 should cost around rm20-30.
If the buyer can get that price i willing to spilt the fees.
Or i willing to get him a desktop charger which is will cost less than RM10.

I don't intend to sell faulty stuff to buyer. If the phone is faulty i wont sell it!  ohmy.gif
Previously hardly any problem for the phone i sold & i had test the phone thoroughly before selling.
I not sure why this happen after the first charging, really no idea.
Anyone who encounter with similar problem?

If you know place that can repair with that cost please pm me the shop add because what i can get now is around 45-60.
if you dont intend to sell faulty staff u should provide personal warranty so that buyer know u r sincere. how can i check your phone can charge or not during cod and should i wait until charging finish then only pay u ?

About the phone age i admit it that is is my fault that i didnt look clearly at the sticker behind it.
i just assume that it is a 2years + phone.

i second that, buying frm that seller indicates that u've already gone thru the T&C.
it depends on d seller whether to share the cost of repairing anot, but he's gud enuf to giv u a desktop charger smile.gif

yes, but this is my first charging and he should responsible for it because how can i check that his phone can charge or not during cod ? should i bring him home and wait until charging finish then only pay him ? he should provide warranty for something that cannot check during cod and that is a good seller. thanks

well.. not taking sides here..

but i think crazyrock has the choice of not refunding the buyer.. this is cuz he has aleady mentioned that his goods are not covered by any warranty and that the buyer should buy it at their own risk..

but since he is a good man who tried to help you by giving you a desktop charger, why not just accept it? laugh.gif

So PPL should remember this that dont ever buy anything from him since no warranty will be given and buyer should check kow kow and try charging the phone until finish and then only pay him.
like i said i dont thing bring two batt. everywhere is a good solution/idea. thanks

CrazyRock, just split the cost of repairing if you intend to sell more phones. people will trust you more smile.gif
