QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Sep 13 2014, 03:07 PM) That why Samsung remove AMOLED PLUS which only appear at Note II. QUOTE(thelightside @ Sep 13 2014, 03:13 PM) This really nice. QUOTE(thelightside @ Sep 13 2014, 03:15 PM) Not that fast for current AMOLED already. The only huge seen yellowish is NOTE II which run full ARGB AMOLED PLUS that no longer use by Samsung after that. That the main reason Samsung remain pentile display to extend the life span. QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Sep 13 2014, 03:17 PM) My grey N7105 turned yellowish while my pink N7100 remains white as it is rarely used and it is much newer. Only happen for Note II which use none pentile and full ARGB AMOLED PLUS screen.Plus my N7105 LTE was one of the first batches, which was manufactured 7 days before I bought the device. QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Sep 13 2014, 04:12 PM) Which I like. But you need sacrifice the life span then. Pentile is very unnatural, just like both my S3 and Note 3. And my S4 has very poor refresh rates, 'ghosting' will occur S3 yes not natural and ghosting. Note 3 and S5 for me is kind of perfect already. No idea on S4. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 14 2014, 10:34 AM) Just like me...using any 5 incher no matter how good it is, is out for me. Even my Find7 at 5.5 inch i find barely tolerable. The Find7 is best performance n smoothest Android i had used to date. Pity is only 5.5 inch. Best ideal size for me is 6 inch display size Ya, learning from you, I no longer will pick below 5.5" (you 6") screen phone as it just waste money at the end. |

QUOTE(dlsl @ Sep 14 2014, 10:11 AM) Note 4 will come with exynos 5433 and snapdragon 805. Any info regarding which version to launch here? Ya it seems exynos 5433 is 64bit with much greater score. Now just see what is bringing in to Malaysia, as long is smooth I am sold. There is a poll in xda regarding which version they like in note 4. the poll result is 50:50 on this matter up to now. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/gen...s-5433-t2868247 Previous samsung phone is easier to like the snapdragon more than the exynos due to support in xda and AOSP/cynogenmod. Snadragon also has better performance in he synthetic benchmark. According to the xda post above, there is evident in the benchmark information that suggest the exynos is the 64bit cpu. Android L is fully support the 64bit in the ART. it will get full benefit from it. the below sites has explain the benefit for the 64bit processor: http://www.androidcentral.com/why-64-bit-p...-matter-android If the exynos 5433 is really the 64bit processor, i kind lean on the exynos 5433 this time. it is 20nm processor and in 32bit kitkat, the synthetic benchmark already outperform the snapdragon. Beside that, exynos normally will get wolfson DAC which will yield better sound quality than snapdragon based on previous model history. The exynos processor will surely loose cynogenmod or AOSP rom support as same with note 3 with exynos. Although, there is still custom rom for exynos. Any other snapdragon benefit beside the better cynogenmod/aosp rom support? I don't care on Cynogen, AOKP, AOSP. Those is real useless to me, I not fancy on it. |

QUOTE(Velocity @ Sep 14 2014, 03:27 PM) The improvement is not enough for a replacement. I stick with my note 3 I am happy they not put waterproof. If can't make a proper bezel, don't put this gimmick feature. It is nothing really useful on waterproof. It won't last longer, unless you never open any flip cover port forever. So does the 4 get waterproof capabilities like S5? Actually they is a lot changes in Note 4, 2K display, much much better OIS camera, aluminum side, much improve S Pen sensivity, fast charging, I pick fast charging than USB 3.0 if USB 3.0 can't delivery fast charging yet. The only down side for me is speaker back to real. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Sep 14 2014, 05:09 PM |
