HK firmware..?
Won't it become problematic later on...like on Note3 where it can't be flash over other country firmware..?

HK units are running exynos ..... Sg is SD

Yup , think it's different as well . Like T-Mobile or Sprint , the hardware is 100% identical to our note 3 but flashing it will break wifi and maybe NFC

Yeah silly me. As I said earlier, I had no intention of getting one, until I got the invite and checked out the Gear S. I am very intrigued by it and if I'm part of the first 50 or 100 buyers I should be getting the S for free.

So I only started checking out the Note 4 model nos today, and was on mobile mostly. It didn't show the website properly, so I couldn't see the model number until about 10 mins ago....

I actually experienced the similar story with you.

I bought Note 3 last year, and my iFriend was in shock when he saw me using Note 3. His question was like "Do you enjoy holding brick in your hand? This thing is GIGANTIC...."

Then I was like " How is this a problem? I am holding it with no difficulty." His second statement was like "For me, current iphone size is the best. You can use one hand to operate this". I was " O really?" then I show him the one-hand operation feature with note 3. "I can do that too". Then his final statement was like "....Ok."

Now, here is the funny part.

Last month, he told me he is getting iPhone 6+. Obviously, I am trying to take a jab on him " Do you like holding a brick with your hand?" His answer surprisingly shocked me " Umm..well, it has bigger screen, good for gaming". I was like ".....OK".

About LTE speeds....whatever it is that telcos advertised are just the theoretical maximum. 150Mbps, 300Mbps ..... here in bolehland you're not going to get such speeds all the time.

Our telcos have only upgraded to LTE in the last 18-24 months and I'm sure it's going to be at least another year before they upgrade anything.

I also use my phone for tethering occasionally, and the phone to computer speed is 72Mbps only....so......

Ours LTE only.
This Note4 have nearly a dozen version. Exynos and Snapdragon version. And in Exynos specs got many many sub version/spec

And very much easier to softbrick our phone with all these version/edition/specs.

why not just abolish the normal exynos lte version and replace it with the lte-a??    so everyone in this world can have lte+ note 4

Yeah..I suppose the N910C is for most Exynos in other countries. Thou HK are using N910U and Korea use N910K..L and S..hehe

Haha..am still remember when S2 come with G and non-G version. Then S3 come with LTE and non-LTE. Out S4 with Exynos and Snapdragon. Now within same Exynos proc have many many editions. Later each country have its own edition.. LOL
