iFans is like that one.
Same as my iFriend, he never accept big phone as complain cannot one hand handle. But... do you know what he said now, he no longer need one hand handle, iPhone 6 Plus is the best as it is big enough. You get wow experience on it. Last time he complain like hell in all big phone and said Apple did the right out small phone. Now he eat his own word. That is iFans. |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 12 2014, 06:58 PM) HK firmware..? Possible on that.Won't it become problematic later on...like on Note3 where it can't be flash over other country firmware..? Nobody talk on camera module? It seems Samsung also use different camera module in different processor. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/gen...sensor-t2901512 |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Oct 12 2014, 07:08 PM) Using what processor is not the issue there. They is something different on it previously at Note 3 where they can't use others country firmware even same processor. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Oct 12 2014, 07:11 PM |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Oct 12 2014, 07:16 PM) Yup , think it's different as well . Like T-Mobile or Sprint , the hardware is 100% identical to our note 3 but flashing it will break wifi and maybe NFC Ya, we can't use HK firmware as well. That the reason I by pass N910U now.I no need AOKP/AOSP but sometimes I still prefer custom stock ROM. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 12 2014, 08:49 PM) Yeah silly me. As I said earlier, I had no intention of getting one, until I got the invite and checked out the Gear S. I am very intrigued by it and if I'm part of the first 50 or 100 buyers I should be getting the S for free. Congratulate on the invitation. So I only started checking out the Note 4 model nos today, and was on mobile mostly. It didn't show the website properly, so I couldn't see the model number until about 10 mins ago.... Samsung already email me and said under investigation, dunno what the result. Haizz... |

QUOTE(kding2 @ Oct 12 2014, 09:07 PM) I actually experienced the similar story with you. Haha! Actually they all want big iPhone but don't have, now most of them hurry in first hand getting it.I bought Note 3 last year, and my iFriend was in shock when he saw me using Note 3. His question was like "Do you enjoy holding brick in your hand? This thing is GIGANTIC...." Then I was like " How is this a problem? I am holding it with no difficulty." His second statement was like "For me, current iphone size is the best. You can use one hand to operate this". I was " O really?" then I show him the one-hand operation feature with note 3. "I can do that too". Then his final statement was like "....Ok." Now, here is the funny part. Last month, he told me he is getting iPhone 6+. Obviously, I am trying to take a jab on him " Do you like holding a brick with your hand?" His answer surprisingly shocked me " Umm..well, it has bigger screen, good for gaming". I was like ".....OK". |

QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 12 2014, 09:00 PM) About LTE speeds....whatever it is that telcos advertised are just the theoretical maximum. 150Mbps, 300Mbps ..... here in bolehland you're not going to get such speeds all the time. That why I don't care on Singapore set since seems exynos much better this time. Our telcos have only upgraded to LTE in the last 18-24 months and I'm sure it's going to be at least another year before they upgrade anything. I also use my phone for tethering occasionally, and the phone to computer speed is 72Mbps only....so...... |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 12 2014, 10:13 PM) Yalo. I think exynos standard edition will be N910C.S805 wise no idea. QUOTE(Arvinaaaaa @ Oct 12 2014, 10:16 PM) why not just abolish the normal exynos lte version and replace it with the lte-a?? Samsung as usual said the Exynos not support but became support at it own country. Maybe LTE-A is do slightly different than LTE+, dunno and lazy to check on it. Haha! |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 12 2014, 10:27 PM) Yeah..I suppose the N910C is for most Exynos in other countries. Thou HK are using N910U and Korea use N910K..L and S..hehe And Singapore special using N910G running S805.I know got N910F as well but forgotten is S805 or Exynos 5433 already. So many version, this really make difficulty for developer. Also affect time consuming for all getting same updates. I really don't see any good on Samsung decision release so many edition... QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 12 2014, 10:54 PM) Haha..am still remember when S2 come with G and non-G version. Then S3 come with LTE and non-LTE. Out S4 with Exynos and Snapdragon. Now within same Exynos proc have many many editions. Later each country have its own edition.. LOL I believe one day will happen, now so many version where a lot is certain country specific. Why can't Samsung did something like iPhone only one version cover all.
