This is my own opinion, hope i dont offend anyone What's the point of using power saving modes and all if you are using a smartphone to be connected all the time. Most power saving mode I have seen disable data or only enable it on certain times. I know we can set it, but sometimes it don't really work. So i have never enabled any ultra power saving mode, only those saving mode when my battery went below certain threshold

Battery looks really bad from the unofficial battery test in the thread. Hopefully more conclusive reviews in the next few weeks. 

On page 5 one of the poster noted that the OP shot alot of 4K videos on the Note 4 and will test again.

True.. When I'm out at client I sometimes can't depend on power banks if power is too low.. Depends on situation la. Haha. If long flight I guess only for games or music?

alot of people eager to get the note 4 including me...but im more eager to get the spigen tough armor case before i buy the phone....for maximum protection right out of the box

Bought it from dd. Either way, both shops only offer exynos for the time being.

Few things about this device.

-Somehow feels warm while doing light activities, tho the weather most likely is the culprit.

- Screen looks nice, but that said, I honestly cant tell the difference between the note 3's screen and this. 2k overhyped I guess.

- As for outdoor screen visibility, I'd give it a 9/10

- Camera's mediocre when taking indoor photos, but brilliant outdoor.

- The finger print scanner is accurate provided you do it the way Samsung wants

- 4G reception comparable with htc m8

- Smooth animations, although it might be too early to tell.

- The faux back seems nice to touch, but the metal bezels are a tad sharp.

-  Battery is still draining, but it should settle down after a few days of usage.

- Wifi will now swap in between 2.4g to 5g to provide better stability.
That said, I dont understand why put a 2k reso screen on a phone when your home page is still limited to 4 icons a row.

thinking of using the note naked, of course with glass sp applied first

1) Its pretty clear on 1080 and 720p. as for 480, you can open your phone's utube and try 480 coz thats exactly how it looks like. There are close to zero benefits with a 2k screen.

2) The camera seems to be the same as the note 3, you'd get grainy at times.

3) I do not encourage first day battery monitoring since I am running on the same battery charge since factory but here you go

Damn good battery life. My nexus 5 can barely reach 3 hours SOT on  a full charge.

Now there is bend test.. in the future we may have spot load test, tekkando/shear test, nuclear test, pull test, inside microwave test, deepest water test, fire test, explosion proof test, extreme low temperature test and so on....
The phone is getting tougher even tougher than those professional SLR camera in the future.

i would love to see ratedrr shoot a note 4 with sniper..he also told that he is eager to do it in his page

if there are areas iphone 6+ is better than Note4, the author will put up the performance chart. If there are areas that Note is better than iphone+, the author will say they are both good. It is very obvious that Note is so much better in photography and videoing with the higher camera spec but not mentioned at all in the comparison. The HDR comparison is missing also. What is the crap comparison and bias to Apple.
