By right, last year when bought Prebet time should have withdraw Persoga NCD already. Then Persoga pay full insurance premium and start over again. Regardless, Prebet ady got 25% discount from new car purchase, by this November your Prebet would have getting 30% discount, and your Persoga renewal will have 25% discount jor. You could have been easily get an instant 800$ discount in TOTAL.

What you can do now is, tell me when is the actual expiry date for BOTH vehicle. Then I teach you what to do.

Yes, I agree that best scenario is to take the Persona NCD at Preve's purchase. I asked the salesman to assist collaboration with the insurer but he didn't perform any action.

Lets see what can be done for now.
Preve Expiry 20/11/2014. To date 0% NCD. Next renewal 25% NCD.
Persona Expiry 30/03/2015. Current premium 1306 before NCD. After current 30% NCD RM921.70.

So I believe current status:

Prebe : 0 NCD until 20/11/2014
Persoga: 30% NCD until 30/03/2015(meaning renewal will be 38.33% true?)

What you can do is, wait until Prebe renewal date, go renew at full premium -25% NCD. On the Persoga renewal date, ask the Persoga insurance officer DO NOT USE the NCD38.33%! Ask him cincai key in a wrong vehicle number and return the NCD to 0%. I prefer u bring Persoga insurance to your Prebe insurance company so you can make the job easier for them. So now you have 38.33% running around free, you ask the insurance officer transfer the 38.33% NCD into Prebe, then the currently running 25% NCD on Prebe transfer to Persoga You'll save money to the max! After the transfer done, you will have money take back from Prebe overpaid(38.33%-25%NCD), at the same time you'll also get back 25% NCD from Persoga. This way got 1 down side, by 20/11/2015 Prebe renewal, you don't get to jump to 45%, instead still renew at 38.33%NCD, until Persoga renewal, Persoga will get 30%, and you'll have to get the Prebe insurer to manually endorse Prebe NCD to 45% and get back a refund of (45%-38.33%). Until 2017 when u renew Persoga insurance, you'll get 55% and from there you no need to do endorsement every year! This way will save money to the MAX!

On an easier way.

Withdraw NCD 30% from Persoga 1 day before Prebe expiry date. Renewal of Prebe time use the Persoga detail to enter NCD column, so Prebe can capture the Persoga NCD30%. Next 30/03/2015 when time to renew Persoga, key in back Prebe last year policy and capture the 25%(NCD last 1 whole year after previous policy lapsed). No the most efficient saving, but save up all the trouble of keep going back and do endorsement every year.

The easier way seems much easier and I think doesn't confuse the agent that much. If I perform the second way, will the Preve's NCD still be renewing at 38.33% on 20/11/2015 and also 25% on Persona on 30/03/2016 (a 1 year NCD pause for both car)?

If you withdrawl Persoga NCD few days before Prebe expiry, say 17/11/2014, on the day of renewal your Prebe key in Persoga detail will get instant 30% NCD ady. So by 20/11/2015, yes Prebe is entitle 38.33% jor.

Now, your Persoga. I need you to rajin abit to get the extra juice out of it. Print a copy of your CURRENT(1st year new car Prebe policy). After renewal of Prebe insurance with 30%NCD by 20/11/2014, bring the old policy of Prebe go back to Persoga insurer, ask them to put back your Prebe 25% NCD entitlement to Persoga. By next year renewal of Persoga, 30/03/2015 ady get 25% discount jor. The following year 30/03/2016, ady 30% discount jor Owe me a lot of teh tarik
