NORINCO's latest beast, the MBT-3000 arrives at the exhibition hall of the Zhuhai Air Show 2014

One can appreciate how massive and modern-looking this new tank is compared to earlier Chinese designs. I wonder if they actually have it upgraded the electronics and overall combat capability to western-level tanks.

Also, wonder why paint in desert camo? Want to attract some rich Gulf region prince/defense minister? brows.gif

There's air conditioning equipment, clearly designed for hot environments

I don't get how air-con are optional accessory for tanks/armored vehicles. Even in temperate climate countries being buttoned-up in giant metal box will surely heat up the crew eventually.

Yes...Leopard 2 of Canadian Army are sent to Afghanistan without air conditioning..

.crews have to wear cooling jacket and put umbrella on the turret
