never pay before, because it's suppose to be together with one of the normal bill as previously.

what your tenancy agreement say ? if its not inside then you pay.

Tenant never paid for the last 2 year...Total due now is almost rm200 plus.. have to check the agreement then

tenant pays IWK bill, landlord pays assessment and cukai tanah.

should have agreement. but in my case i choose to pay coz i rented the house n i don't want any trouble to happen when i want to take a dump. which requires my landlord to settled first. leceh.

as far as i'm concerned, IWK is one of the utility.
but so far, in all my tenancy agreement, i would specify that landlord pays for it and tenant reimburse on a monthly basis at RM8/month.
that way, i can be assured because i control the payment.

no need to state...indah water is consider utility bill.

I paid on behalf for tenant. Usually I absorb it if it is only rm8 for those good tenant.

As far as i am concern, IWK is part of the utility bill. If the tenant dont pay during the tenancy period, I will normally deduct the lump sum from tenant's deposit when they "check out". However, recently one of the tenants refuse to pay, i just absorb. Dun want to sai hei to argue with them.

Though it's just RM8 per month, if it's accumulated over the years, the amount can be substantial.
