IINM, all android phone behave like that... when wifi is connected, the mobile data will be turned off... correct me if im misunderstood you.

just want to add, Lenovo A806 equipped with location based wifi features, which is the wifi will be automatically on and connect if the profile has been saved before (even you disable/off wifi). It is quite annoying for those who are in the wifi area with login/landing page. You can turn that features off at setting.

just got myself this A806. bought a black one from 1Gadget, rm489.

quite fast i would say. esp on connecting to Google Maps for the data n GPS.... my only grouse is it iss filled with sampah apps , baidu etc etc... any1 knows how to solve this.

rooting wise, i ve never rooted an android, a noob here...

can you post your build number... previously, I got custom ROM equipped with Gapps... but also comes with bloat ware...

my solution is flash official rom which is does not come with gapps... and install gapps manually... also remove all unwanted bloat ware... but word of advice... if you do not familiar with android partition and flashing... please don't do it... you may end up bricking your phone...

IINM custom rom comes pre rooted... just install clean master and remove bloat ware... you can check root status by installing CPU-Z or search for any SuperSU or any kind of super user apps in the smart phone...

ive got Gapps and the whole Google android gangs, but with lenovo this Lenovo that crapps as well...

using AOSP rom on my A806....
pretty much faster...expect gapps problem...but wth no more bloatware...
using as hotspot...battery seems ok...can manage almost 5-7 hours when screen off...

If u're noob in root, u need to leave ur hp as it is...
No way to remove all those sampah w/out root...

its official rom not custom rom... same as me... you can remove bloatware from apps > download... just simply tick and uninstall... FYI, looks like your build no OS is not updated, do update if you want to , there are bug fixes and improvement... and also the startup sound changed.. not that super duper loud Lenovo sound anymore.

just got this fon...good phone for it price..this rom come rooted so i can uninstall many app that come with this phone... except i cant update new vibeui V2.0_1447_7.4.8.1

it go to recovery mode and warning that this update may wipe root access..please help

just bought...no problem la...can reroot again...new twrp recovery got root funtion
search at needrom for AOSP rom....using now...pretty happy with it...smooth and long lasting when hotspot...

Yup i am aware of it will turn the mobile data off.

What i mean is, when i connect to wifi, i will disxonnect the mobile data.

Problem is , wifi connection seems having intermittent internet connection while other device in my home is ok.

Already remove most bloat n google apps tho... Could it be the problem ?

i bought this phone from 1gadget dot com last week.i also hv problem with ussd.i called the seller,they said if i root it,it wilk void warranty & even factory reset they also can detect.hw?besides,i download the lastest UI frm the update in my phone bt i can't install.below are the error i get.

just root and install custom rom from needrom...no regret here...more smooth and no bloatware...

yeah all warranty will void... but IMO why using android if u dowan to rooted it... also i hate all the lenovo bloatware... so using custom rom is the best way to take control of your phone...
