just bought my redmi1s yesterday, waiting for it to arrive.

any nice ROM with detailed step by step guide on how to root it? pure noob on rooting

for my understanding it's like this

both SIM are active together.

When you make a call, you can choose which number you want to use to call

When you are using the phone (anything include but not limited to surfing/play game/listen to music AND NOT calling), and whenever someone call you on EITHER phone number, the phone will rang and you can answer it.

however, when you are calling using the phone, as if when you are calling using 1 of the SIM , then when another person call you on the other number on the SIM, then they will not be able to reach you.

please tell me if i am wrong on this

i just flash to mokee mod, doesn't really like it. how can i flash it back to miui 5? am using cwm

But I don't know how to boot into recovery now =.='

Tried to flash to mokee last night...after 2-3 hours, finally able to flash it, only to noticed that I still hate android interface (ifag all the time, tried nexus 4 once but just hate android interface, but MIUI 5 is good for me), and that shitty google keyboard crash pop up

Then wake up at 4am, decided to go back to MIUI 5, end up bricked my phone when trying to flash back MIUI 5 on phone, google here and there, using the command line method but failed since cannot detect device, then use the miphone program, still failed to detect, then download the driver, on first tried, still fail to flash, almost cried liao, then finally.........my phone is back to lovely MIUI 5

and then I think I flash to the wrong ROM not the one that came when I purchase....FML!!!!!!

and I still hate MIUI multitask.....

sigh...after back to MIUI 5, last night I try to flash to Pac Rom, end up the ROM failed to join any wifi or even get any phone signal. So while I trying to get back to MIUI 5, the phone just went dead

Press power + volume up = nothing
Press power + volume down = nothing
Press power = nothing

charge it, no light at all

change battery....still same.

arghhhh

phone cannot even enter fastboot

when charge also no show any light. still can push it into adb?

noob here...

??? phone can't even enter fastboot try harder what? can explain?
