I have been trying to buy digital Xbox one games with my Xbox live US account but it's not working. I don't have a credit card so am using my malaysian debit card and PayPal as my payment method but has not been successful..... Can someone please assist me on what to do...... Thanks

U can't use Malaysian credit/debit card to buy stuff from Xbox Live US. U need a US credit card to do so. Even if u link ur debit card to paypal, it won't work. The only way u can buy stuff from Xbox Live US is to buy gift cards and load them up into ur account.

Yes, it is related to the Xbox One. It's stated as above. I had the same problem last time bcos I've tried it before and it doesn't work.

My debit card works fine purchasing anything on 360 and One. And yes I'm on US account.

That's something new. I've tried using my credit card and it just refuse to accept.

From what I understand, if use credit card, the issuing country must be US otherwise, u just can't use it. I didn't use debit cards before so, that's good to know.

I have a friend hit the same problem and he just promptly called the card center to unblock the purchase and it worked.

Certain Debit card worked wonder without need to call to unblock. For example Tune BIG Card. as they do not block the purchase based on registered address.

Im using Cimb Kwik debit mastercard and works fine. My acc is US. You can create you mastercard acc without having the physical card as long you have cimbclicks account.

Mostly i buy gift card $50 or $100 on amazon us. And althought u dont get discount but i find its the cheaper way then play asia or other site. I have a us account on xbox live and i cant use my public bank credit card to buy or my malaysia paypal coz billing adress is malaysia. It will get error. But if u go to amazon us then creat a account there, then put in your billing address in any usa address. Then u can use malaysia credit card to buy digital online code....
