Regarding the bullet point about "backing up data on PC". Pretty sure it's just media like pictures and songs only, I don't think you can actually back up game/save data.

I would buy it if they used better material than the current 3DS XL. I hate the sound it make when I flip it open.. Unlike the normal 3DS or Dsi that don't make a sound.. 3DS XL got that crack sound..

So yeah..

If im not mistaken, only the 3ds can change its plate cover. 3ds ll can't.

well.... do original DS and DS Lite were trash when DSi released?

I do not own a ds so I don't know about that.

The ori version looks like a portable Super Nintendo. Those face buttons are really pretty

tbh I will feel nothing. they ain't forcing you to upgrade. besides, the earliest other can get the new models are next year. (it was confirmed for europe that it won't come this year & i'm pretty sure NA region is also the same)
