Hey, gamers
So, I was playing Splinter Cell Blacklist with Fraps on, and I notice the fps count was 77.
Is it even possible or is it because of Fraps.
And can a ATI RADEON HD 5670 run games with a 60 fps? I know that this card gets hot very fast
Is there a way to lower the fps to like 30?

Thank you
shakku

Why do you want to go 30fps while everyone is aiming for that golden 60fps? You can enable V-sync to cap at 60fps but 30fps might need another software.

Yes, HD5670 able to run 60fps depending on your setting used.

Precaution. Because Dell has been replacing the card for many times. Looks like I have been getting overheat issues. For now, I only use low settings at 720p. Average temperature is 80.
What kind of software should I use.

Wait wait, I saw the word DELL.
It's a laptop or desktop?

If laptop, I seriously agree with you on the GPU stress part.
You might be able to limit the performance by power controls setting.

Use a low to medium graphic settings to lower the stress, as I think limiting your FPS don't help really much.

You can try to use EVGA Precision X, enable the Frame Rate Target and set Limit to 30 FPS.
