Yea similar, but only one row of smd rgb leds.
have 5 led modes iinm, for the keys lighting.
the RGB is optional actually, if u want RGBs to be controllable just need to add another atmel chip when order.
to get brighter light effect u can add extra rgb strip by yourself.
Maybe we run another round of group buy if there's enough ppl want.  thumbup.gif
I have checked few days ago the green pcb version for b87 seems out of stocks already. White one not sure.

Seems to have better luck on aftermarket keycaps rather than the board  sweat.gif

Coincidentally 016's keycaps sold off better than the white Filco (except the white Taihao)

Only among a certain circle of people they can get. Others hardly can get a chance. So is it fair?

Why so butthurt?

It's their rights to sell to whomever they want.

In the end, they take copyrighted materials and sell, and then someone else pirate their copyrighted material and sell.

I see only drama and popcorn.

Is it right to pirate from pirates? Or perhaps there is such thing as honor among thieves?

Personally, I dislike the concept of clacks and brobots and whatnot because paying USD 25 for a novelty item is such a luxurious and pointless idea.

Ya, saw that too. Just this 55g is much more expensive than normal 45g RF. sweat.gif
Still thinking want to pre-order it or not.
Coz I langsung not fancy this kind of layout, just fancy the switch.

I don't think CN will ever be cheaper than acrylic, but you can try checking the costs.

Actually not that concerned about quality, or at least not to that extent.

Problem still exist when I'm making a custom layout with about 70 switches compatible, but in the end I still need to prototype the thing, which is best done using acrylic, IMO.

guys, was bored one day, opened massdrop and this was on the first page. Gonna get this maybe, but, how does massdrop handle shipping to malaysia?

Rm699 is around us$220. Not a bad price because buying RF is around that price. Question is the quality as compared to RF. On the other hand, I bought my RF 55g NIB for just $180. But have to add $40 shipping sad.gif
*
Yeah, shipping is always the killer whenever I see good deals online... in 'MURICA.

Anyone interested getting anything from SP?

I will be buying a set or two in the coming month, so anyone wants to share shipping can just drop me a note or something and I'll include you into the list. Shipping cost will tip heavily towards your favour according to my calculation methods since I'm getting close to USD 160 in purchases when the midnight SA set comes out.

Hi guys, restarting the SP GB thanks to the granite bonus set. Check my siggy for info.

As usual, we will be following my usual routine (will be outlined in the thread) to ensure transparency and fairness smile.gif

I agree that Filco still wins.
But Code Clears has other things:
1. backlight .. ok la.. I know the caps are crap but the white backlit is professional
2. I really really like the DIP switch to change to Mac mode
3. And I really really like that I can Fn-Page Up/Page Down to control volume. It does make a lot of sense.

I use the same volume shortcuts for my ErgoDox. Are you me?

Also, wanna loan your RF 55g can ah? I give you my left testicle as collateral.
