After stopped D3 for so long , i bought RoS for RM59 and continue season 8.
Played Crusader and DH. Paragon 300+ now.

I dont understand the whole concept, some help pls.
1) so once season ends, season char will be converted into normal char. and paragon.
so my main char is basically just a storage, cant play with it or rather no point playing the main char anymore.
2) when Season9 starts, day 1.. nobody going to PL for u keke, coz everyone is lvl 1 , paragon 0 ?
3) all your goodies gear of season 8, already archived in normal account. ?
4) does anyone actually playing their main ?

Some of us move back to Non-Seasonal after we're done with (almost all) the rewards for that particular Season.

1. There's a rebirth function to turn a Non-Seasonal Character into a Seasonal one. All equipment and things on that character's inventory will be sent back to you via mail, retrievable by any non-Seasonal Character.

2. Precisely. Season is like Ladder for Diablo II, everyone starts anew.

3. When the Season ends, yes. It's not archived, it just gets converted to Non-Seasonal.

4. Depends on what you mean by 'main'. Some of us main a character, rebirth them and power through with that 1 character. Some of us play a certain class. Some of us play multiple classes.

I could just create a new char rather than Rebirth, unless ur char slot is full ?

another thing that make sense (this is my first season) ,
Once season end, paragon transfer and boost my main character(non seasonal) says 200 to 400 paragon.

Next season starts, i can use my main character to play a higher tier greater rift? (or can i ?)

The purpose of introducing the Rebirth function is because players have been pestering Blizzard to do something about character slots. After a Season ends, the character becomes non-Seasonal. And when a new Season comes (prior to the introduction of this function), you would have to use another character slot to create a Seasonal character to participate in the new Season. Thus, it becomes a hassle when slots are filled up after previous Seasonal characters occupy them, and if you ran out of character slots, you would have to delete the character, which if you'd wanna play in non-Seasonal, you'd have to shift his/her gear, or move things which is a hassle.

The Rebirth function (partially) address this.

Seasons is all about starting new. Nothing you've earned from previous Season (and Non-Seasonal) contribute to your current Seasonal progress. With the exception of cosmetic stuff (e.g. pets, equip xmogs, portraits, wings, etc.)

I noticed the latency is very high these few days. Sometimes I got kicked out from the game. Blizzard said it's from our ISP side, but I don't think so. It's not only happening in Malaysia.

Not too sure about you, but ever since I hook it up to connect with the Aussie servers, my latency is slightly better than connecting directly to NA's server.

My ping is between 130 to 230 on any given day. If I played on NA, it's usually 290 to 400 (which is super delayish, believe me).

anyone experiencing high latency issue to NA server? mine is like unplayable freaking high of 1.4-2k

U guys mainly play in which region? I used to play in Americas region. But most of the time it spikes so badly.
