how is cmpa any different compared to vanilla quake 3 ?

Definitely need more skill than VQ3 and the pace is much much more faster, so if you play with CS style you're going to get owned bad.And as of 1.38, CPMA reduced most ammo pickup from weapon to 5(from 10).
