the only way to play quake 3 is via LAN. our local broadband just doesn't cut it, not even on local servers. i'm sort of retired from quake (semi-retired from gaming) but i wouldn't mind some fragging if i have the time and the right people to play with.

Hmm.. 30+ms ping is considered bad still? o.O? I am averaging that in servers that's residing in SEA's region(SG/MY)

any news on the server?

You can try your luck for any shop that bring New Era games.
If you stay around PJ, you can look for it at MPH 1-Utama, around the comic section. There's a rack selling old and educational games. Q3A were among of the game. The price is either RM 39.90 or 29.90, i forgot

download cpma 1.35 full, then upgrade to cpma 1.38 , just copy and paste teh cpma1.38 into it
