I don't find Pinoys to be toxic. They're mostly friendly. The problem is they're mostly idiots who throw 9 times out of 10. Of the hundreds of Pinoys I've met, I've only added around 10 or so who I feel are worth playing with on a regular basis.

If you're looking for flamers, Malaysians/Singaporeans are the worst. Any attempt to refute this is plain bias.

They speak English, better than most Malaysians if I may add. The only time they revert to Tagalog is either when they're in a stack, or they're cursing. Indons/Thais/Viets on the other hand don't speak English that often.

Team Underminer. Underminer is old school, one of the major tournament organizers etc. from back during WC3 DotA days.

I'd feel bad too. It's like the saying goes, "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." Some people just don't seem to comprehend the simplest of things. I cannot understate how infuriated I get when people get ganked in the same fashion over and over again. Some good examples are Furions who solo push when the map is dark, or cliff farm on the same cliff where they got killed twice. It's like they're begging to get killed.

I don't really believe in forced win rates, but sometimes the players I get are just downright disappointing. Even more so when I'm on a favored hero and they just keep throwing bodies at the enemy carry for no good reason. This game can be very demotivating at times.

Bara is my 4th most-played hero. In most of the games I played him, I was on either 3rd or 4th position. He's an early game beast if your allies can take advantage of your aggression.

Ignore them and play your own game, then come here and rant = problem solved.

I doubt this will change anything, when rares can be sold off for cash later on. The problem with SEA when it comes to competitive gaming is two-fold:
1. The lack of a proper prize pool and pay for players. I wouldn't be surprised if they can earn more from matchfixing than they did with their combined salaries for the month.
2. Players are really young. We're talking about kids here, the idea that what they're doing is career-ending doesn't even cross their mind. Like children, they expect to be forgiven over time.

eSports, like any other sport, could use a regulatory body with proper management to make sure things like these never happen again. However, the overseeing body must provide the sport enough room to flourish or we'll have a repeat of what went on in China before TI4.

Thus it begins, 4 days of suffering with the promise of future enjoyment.

Just like how children who make a mistake won't admit to doing so. What respect I had for him as a player is now washed down the toilet.

Nah, there's no need to go that far. The betting system as it is now is pretty decent. Players should just be forbidden from betting on games they're involved in, both directly and by proxy. Enforcement will be a problem, but at least it doesn't disassemble the entire betting system the community has set up over the years.

Some scandals you can never recover from. The management is partly to blame for their inability to handle the situation properly. Given the current circumstances, it's better that Arrow disband, at least then there will be an opportunity for the players/management to start fresh in the future.
