I have this dilemma between this 2 phones..

Asus Zenfone 5 A500KL and Moto G 2014 (2nd Gen)

Which one is better, worth the money to buy?

Usage for chatting and camera. No games and browsing( only less browsing)

Both serve you well. But Zenfone should shoot better in low light than Moto G 2014 due to the PixelMaster technology, while Moto G 2014 have dual front-facing speaker. Go test both out see which suit your like

Like NightFelix mentioned, main difference will be camera and front speaker.

Personally I'll go for Moto G, coz it's stock android. Everything is smooth and simple. Root and flash friendly. Zenfone 5 is gud too, but will have some bloatware from Asus. Rest assured, u still can freeze or uninstall the bloatware if I'm not mistaken. Read it from some where before.

Uhm.. As far I know local set ZenFone 5 (A500KL) the one with Snapdragon SoC have LTE connectivity and 2GB of RAM. There are too much spam Zenfone whatever fone or Pad by Asus... So make sure you check the spec sheet correctly before you pay.

I like to use stock android.. maybe because I don't like to root hehe.

u won't go wrong with either 1. It's the best phone in that budget.

Just rmb to state the model number A500KL when purchasing the Zenfone 5. Coz datz the better variant with Snapdragon 400 processor and 2gb ram.

4. What you need in the phone : MUST support OTG, good battery life. NOT for game

need some recommendation:

1. Brand : no preference.
2. Budget. : less than 500, can stretch a bit as long as good buy
3. Specs. :at least 1gb ram and 8gb internal
4. What you need in the phone : lag free and durable

currently eyeing on honor 3c, zenfone 5 and redmi note.

In dilemma looking for a phone....

Considering the following, Sony Xperia Z2, HTC Desire Eye, Galaxy Note 3, S5,
Budget : Midrange phone, below 2k
Phone use for : Browsing internet, watching youtube, play candy crush.
Important thing : No lag, need the phone urgently due to current phone screen crack

Any sifu or expert that can advise which phone is better or any midrange phone that I missout....

Below 2k can buy many things already, even flagships like Note 4 goes as low as RM1900 during 12/12 Flash sales.

Err... is it possible to get Note 4 at that price now?

don't think can't. RM2,000 got plenty of choice even HTC / Sony flagship also can, if don't mind AP set, there are even more choice as well.

Xperia Z3 (Directd selling ori set at 1999 ), One M8, Desire Eye, Galaxy S5.

Top up for Note 4, currently best camera for android phone imho.

No love for LG? LG G3 not bad. But just import set available.

Interested to see the pricing. Now LG G3 the 3gb RAM version is 1499 by third party phone shop. LG would have to make it some what similar pricing, if not no difference, most ppl will just buy from shops like DirectD.
