Various people define spacious differently.
Same as the size of toilet. Personally, the toilet design is big enough for me.
What do you mean by family hall? If you like to have one, then perhaps you could renovate one room into family hall.

I have no idea for the marketing value in BTP. I am not a professional one to justify this issue.
*
i remember seeing a number of landed those with 1st floor family area
when you walk up to 1st floor you can see one area where it can be used as 2nd living hall before retiring to the rooms
acacia does not have because 18x80 probably

that is right, hard to say how acacia would be valued in the future
we can only gamble now whether to buy or not...
hopefully have time to makan angin there again to check out the launching

I bought Acacia Park Phase 1 mainly because of the LYG design (big and comfortable) and the peaceful surrounding in BTP. Besides, it is near to the place currently I stay in KL which is around 30 - 40 minutes (if you drive steadily la). The most important factor is the price!!! 400k for a house on 18' X 80' land is cheap and affordable.
*
you buy for stay?
anything nearby to eat at night in BTP? i mean nearby and not drive too far out
char kueh tiao, chicken rice etc?

Frankly, I hate those who bought/invest properties or housing area which are not for family staying purpose. This is why the properties prices rise like SH*T these days. Buy - not to stay - wait for the price rises - sell to innocent people like me. Haiz... 400k is no longer a BIG price to me as I witness the double-storey house in Klang valley double folded from 400k to 900k lately within these four years. It is rather insane.
*
yup; that is right
because of speculators housing prices are no longer affordable
but you don't have to worry
speculators are more prevalent in the city
less here.

so i expect buyers stay in BTP and would love to see what type of community lives there
there will be time when the market pricing will be corrected.

You will falling in love with btp because;
- will see foggy in the morning like at C.  Highland
- no noisy sound from motor vehicle like @ kl
- very relax environment, hopefully no more mega develoment like puchong. Building everywhere.
- And many more  activities for life balance, not just money, money....
*
i am looking for it but will air temperature here slightly lower than city?
not sure whether Low Yat will build high rise once the land gets lesser
at least BTP should have bustling commercial activities
Low Yat can attract key anchor tenants? or at least manage the commercial lots?
anchor F&B operators
any McD inside?
this is important instead of having to drive out to other places

mainly in the city as pricing is distorted hence expect post GST to have some correction
of course this is only my take
in area like BTP i guess will not be affected much but i thought i read someone said the secondary market in BTP is still low and ask Low Yat why sell Acacia at higher price? tongue.gif

I booked a Phase 1 unit for own stay and agree with you, the toilets are small and layout is difficult to even add a shower screen. Also the wall tiles not layout to the ceiling. Hope LYG admin can help me voice up to developer to consider doing all the bathroom wall tiles from floor to ceiling.

Other than this, I love the house, at this price for gated, guarded and cctv. BTW, LYG admin how the cctv works?
*
so Low Yat is saying to cut cost for not having ceiling high tiles in the toilet?
but i guess not to worry much right except if you tend to spray shower water high up hence worrying about the paint?
or can ask contractor to find the right tiles and continue it upwards tongue.gif at own cost

whoa i bet u r very rich cos i saw you also interested in all other properties like tamarind, Shaftsbury, The HYVE, PARK HILL RESIDENCE and many more. so which property you bought so far? perhaps u can guide us which property do u think is good?
*
marvin triple 3
you buy for stay?

every property has its own characteristic, good and bad
looks like you are actively surveying too?

as many buyers here can say, space is what they look for
landed in the city is beyond reach for many
i value the BTP interchange as i like highways and do not mind to pay tolls
i believe more will move towards this in the near future
that is why you see highways in the city all congested

but i am not sure now whether this BTP is 100% confirmed and can be delivered by 2016
is it still proposed stage?
what if cancelled?
what if delayed? 1 year delay is okay but what if 3-5years and more?

Hi FirstHome - Our architects felt that to tile up the wall up to ceiling-height is actually just putting additional cost to the home buyers. It has been our vision to deliver value-for-money houses to our buyers and to not load unnecessary cost to our buyers. However, we note your comment and we will aim to improve further.

The Street CCTV will be linked to the guard house for easy monitoring of the common areas.

value for money hope Low Yat built quality is acceptable
no cut corners
any previous owners here can share their quality?

Hi ibbrio - Presently at BTP we have our commercial centre at Medan Puteri where you can buy your household needs. As for char kwei teow and chicken rice or even bah kut teh, you can get it from Country Homes which is about 10 mins drive. Go and try the char kwei teow you will like it. AEON is also quite nearby, no need to go to KL for shopping.
We are also starting work on our new Medan Puteri2 which is a modern design 3 Storey shophouses which we believe will cater for the upper end retail shops, offices, showrooms, banks etc.
*
hope in 1 year time all can be inside BTP rather than having to drive out using the small roads with lorries
is Medan Puteri shops successful? or operated by foreigners?

which banks will go in?

For Acacia Park, there is no family area. But I personally think that you don't need that space anyway. I would prefer to have family time with the rest of the family downstairs, at the living room. I have seen a lot of families that use that space to put a lot of things, so  it's like a store.

Instead of family area, after you reach upstairs you will have the toilet. Another reason why I think this design is good is because it is easy for guest to use it as well (in case if the toilet downstairs is occupied).

When you buy a house, think of practicality. You can buy a house with all the stuff you can imagine, but are you going to use it or not?  Just my 2 cent..
*
yeah visitors can enter 1st floor toilet without having to enter your room tongue.gif
living hall is actually depending on usage
most will use as storage area
but since 18x80 nothing to complain for not having this area
only toilet is small so water splash here and there lor...
mandi has to be soft soft tongue.gif
