IMHO, the reason why it bounce is because Maybank wants you to use "Bill Payment" method which costs RM1.00 per transaction.

As long as the transaction amount is in foreign currency (besides MYR), we will get 2X Bonus Points via AEON WATAMI CC

Nope... still thinking whether to "utilise" the 10% or not.
Since Petrol doesn't count into the 3% Quarterly, I should be able to start petrol transactions on the next period "21 December 2014 – 20 January 2015"
