Testing my OPO Slow Shutter... wow.. didn't know that this method I used on my DSLR is here as well. We all know all mobile camera takes really crappy low-light with tons of noise. But with this and some help with a tripod/stand + timer + slow shutter and a bit of patient you can really take really good low light images.

Quick test on my desktop razor mouse:

In another news, I've mentioned before that the new firmware 30O seems to make the screen much colder and it is turning blue tint instead of white. Now.. after a few days I see the OPO screen more or less like pure white - but my well tuned LCD screen now looks yellow instead shocking.gif

Our brain work in wonders... lol. What OPO CynogenMod should do is released a proper white point tool together with the current hue, saturation, contrast and intensity.

Anyone uses long USB (2m) and able to charge OPO successfully? It does detect there is power but it doesn't really charge at all. I'm guessing the length does effect the charging rate.

Went to DAISO and bought another RM5 100cm and a 50cm USB cable to test and see if it works. Its rated at 700mA on the packaging.

Yeap. I used 2m usb cable. Manage to charge 1.6~1.8kmA (charger output 1.8kmA)

Hm.. any chance to identify the brand or where you get it? Most of them doesn't have any info on it so I don't know which one works or not. My 2m one somemore is RM14 and super thick.. yet doesn't charge at all sad.gif the RM5 100cm one from DAISO seems to charge 1% every few minutes doh.gif

i have to ask though, why do you need such a long cable?  I find it bad practice to use your phone while its charging.
700ma is less than half of the rated 2 amps the opo can charge at. Maybe thats why..

Ermm.. use it on the bed.. LOL

Found a thread about charging cables. Maybe can refer there.

Oh wow! such a big difference when using OPO cable when charging. I think I'll just use back the original cable then - just too sayang the pretty OPO cable.

After I got my 33R official OTA update yesterday I bump into some apps crashes as well - but only the first load, the next time I load ok already. Do note that I am using ART runtime though, maybe that's why.

For power drain issues - its slightly better then 30O but can't reach the performance of 25R which is still ok by me as I'm used to charging smartphone daily anyway.

Below are some screenshot of the battery drain on 33R at night (no wifi, bt on). Roughly -1% every hour or so. I think on 7am my WiFi kick back on and I'm using it, that's why its -2.4%.
