QUOTE(solor @ Aug 23 2014, 06:12 PM) hi guys. I would like to ask. If i download the factory image from here: https://cyngn.com/products/oneplusone/ is it usable for flashing? or i need to use the one provided in first page? thanks! Nope. The file from there is for fastboot. Get the flashable zip if you don't want to do fastboot.

QUOTE(solor @ Aug 23 2014, 06:17 PM) which mean if i wanted to use fastboot i can just download files from the website? Am i right? Thanks for your reply Yeap. If you want to do the fastboot method where you "fastboot this...fastboot that..." then be my guest Btw, that is the full ROM for CM11S. If you just want the update, grab from some of the link posted here. Also, no problem

QUOTE(lanXX @ Aug 23 2014, 10:17 PM) any recommendation which bloatware to remove?im afraid i will delete the wrong thing if i do it as i like.. Tbh, CM is pretty bloatware-less. There's not much to remove. If you don't like their apps (like gallery, trebuchet, etcetc) then just freeze/uninstall them or use alternatives. What are these bloatwares you talking about though?

QUOTE(Haters_Gonna_H8 @ Aug 23 2014, 10:33 PM) some ppl view g+, photos, hangout, basically majority of google apps as bloatwares. i personally disabled the cLock widget that comes with the rom. found out that is was searching for location even when its not on any screen and even when all options under clock, weather and calendar was unticked QUOTE(lanXX @ Aug 23 2014, 10:53 PM) those apps like play books, play newsstand, are not considered bloatware? Oh those. My bad. Ok, if you don't use them, then feel free to uninstall them. Most Google apps that can be found in the play store are safe to uninstall/freeze. QUOTE(Chyan @ Aug 24 2014, 04:12 PM) Most reviews I've watched mentioned that it does not. Just smudge magnet. Might want to ask xxxdesiretriple x like cantik only The back if you put with your keys/anything sharp (in pocket) then easily scratch. Or you put on hard surfaces then accidentally take sometimes will scratch too . Else should be ok.

QUOTE(Chyan @ Aug 24 2014, 05:19 PM) Got pics of you N5 with that on? I want to see your weathered version. lol I don't have the ringke, I have the spigen ultra hybrid. But from what I know, they're both the same material. This is 8 months of usage. Kinda hard to see with my N5 on so I took it out. And hard to see under normal lighting unless do something like what I did. (sis hand btw )

QUOTE(Chyan @ Aug 24 2014, 08:28 PM) Not shabby for 8 months. Dropped it before? Not on hard surfaces though; dropped before on carpet around like those plastic chair height so not to consider very high as well.

QUOTE(nobody83 @ Aug 25 2014, 08:18 AM) i'm excited when i got the invite and buy the 64G black version, but i'm using my mi3 now. i'm thinking now, whether i should sell of my mi3 or continue use my mi3 and sell OPO instead.....OPO still OTW, waiting for it.... any comment? Just curious as to why you purchased it when you haven't made up your mind? The differences the international vs the china version is just the one of the LTE bands (which is applicable for US) and the "Cyanogenmod" wording behind the phone. Resale value for international is not exactly high as there's no warranty locally. And, really nothing special other than small ego boost (I had this ) with the international version. Why don't you try to use the phone first and then decide whether to keep the phone (as primary/seconday; up to you) or sell it. tl;dr, resell value not that high, try to use then decide. QUOTE(cschuang @ Aug 25 2014, 09:31 AM) Hi, newbie here. Is it flash to CM11s without root and anything. I got my device yesterday. Did hard reset yesterday night. Tried just now, from the device, got this message device is not supported. Should I just continue? Thanks. Cheng That is just flash to CM11s. Root has nothing to do in that post. The only changes you make is you unlock your bootloader. Please be more specific when describing your error, example like where it occur, after which step you performed when the error occur, describe exactly the error message, and etcetc. This post has been edited by xxdesire: Aug 25 2014, 09:47 AM

QUOTE(cschuang @ Aug 25 2014, 11:30 AM) Thanks bro! Sorry for the confusion, just migrating from ios. Really new to androids, in fact only exposed to androids for 1 day. Anyway, for me to update to CM11s rom, I need to unlock bootloader right? Currently on 11.0- XNPH33R. Thanks. You're already on CM11s. If you want to try other roms/change recovery (to flash stuff) then need to unlock bootloader. Ah, since you're new, I suggest you learn up the jargon so you don't get confuse

QUOTE(Haters_Gonna_H8 @ Aug 25 2014, 01:14 PM) i forgot where i read it. but it did state custom recovery now can only be obtained by unlocking bootloader. but u can try to fastboot the recovery.img without unlocking. see if it works. QUOTE(INGfusion @ Aug 25 2014, 01:18 PM) Yeap, previously before you can do fastboot boot recovery.img; but now is not possible already. Need to unlock bootloader then flash custom recovery > root > enjoy. That's why I always recommend straight unlock bl when get device before setting anything up (when you're certain you're going to root/flash in the future), minimize the hassle. QUOTE(thankyou @ Aug 25 2014, 02:04 PM) OTA update don't need anymore... if Sideload the update: 1) Reboot to TWRP recovery 2) Select Advance -> ADB Sideload -> (Tick Wipe Dalvik Cache & Wipe Cache) -> Swipe to Start Sideload on PC (Android SDK Toolkit required) 3) adb sideload [image] that's it... that's why unlock bootloader & install TWRP recovery is one time job... To add: The simplest way: (since you already have TWRP) [no need for adb] 1) Get the zip inside your phone 2) Reboot to TWRP 3) Install > Select zip > Swipe to flash 4) Profit~

QUOTE(Chyan @ Aug 26 2014, 10:01 AM) https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/no-sound...ng-calls.90960/ Well well. This silent earpiece issue isn't inflicted on China OPO but also the Intl. OPO as well. CM should really fix this since a phone that does this isn't really making it look good for users. Why my unit no problem!?!! Now I can't lodge complaint/bug ticket QUOTE(NightFelix @ Aug 26 2014, 10:31 AM) I doing something Interesting.
