I am actually waiting for newest Number76 KL branch to open. I want to try their style for haircut. smile.gif I have read quite a number of reviews about them but nothing about rebonding. I wanted to know if someone here would recommend them for rebonding too. smile.gif

I went to mont Kiara branch. They are usually packed with customers. But overall the service and results are nice. You can check on their insta to see which customer has done rebonding. They provide free consultation so you can go there and consult

I am actually waiting for next Saturday before I give a review. I am scheduled for a rebond redo. sad.gif According to Steve, my hair is quite strong and he only used very mild chemical because he doesn't want the super straight look, hence still many curly hairs underneath. sad.gif He offered free rebond redo which was originally scheduled yesterday but I can't come because of work.

Haircut is below my expectation. I used to go to Korean hair stylists back in the Phils, and Koreans cut hair way better. Midvalley is far from our place but will really avail the rebond redo because it is really needed. And i paid 400rm for touch-up rebond which is not cheap so I'm expecting I get what I've paid for. 400rm is already a full rebond with treatment on high quality salons in the Phils.

My observation is due to so many customers, the stylist cannot focus very much on each client. I was there for 4hrs and I think, the stylist touched my hair for only 30mins in total. Everything was done by the assistants. If the stylist have been more hands-on, he could have known earlier that the chemicals are not acting so much on my hair.

But Odera, the Japanese, is quite good. He's very focused on his clients. Maybe it's better to go for the Japanese stylists. And I think they are good with perming and hair color because most of their pictures in ig are digital perms and hair colors.

I am hoping my next visit would be better -- which is next Saturday. If not, I'm definitely not coming back to Steve or Number76. sad.gif

So your rebond redo is totally foc or you have to pay any for the touch up?

Sounds pretty bad if have to redo,i don't really trust a stylist if i had bad first experience at the saloon. Yeap, i saw quite often they posted up their customer photo of coloring, but saw so much blogger went to Number76 and the outcome is so gorgeous, just wonder isit cause of the full attention stylist is giving to their hair..LOL

I feel to rebond my hair too but Jimmy, my hair stylist is too busy, hardly able to arrange a suitable time for hair cut sad.gif

Barely can find a good stylist now a days..sad case cry.gif

400rm is the rate for the rebond touch-up made last Thurs. Touch-up only since the stylist doesn't want to rebond thr whole hair; he wanted to rebond only the curly part near the roots. He doesn't want to put chemicals on the straight ends which was left from the last rebond session I had after my hair grew long. The idea was actually fine with me since my problem is actually just the regrowths. However, the "rebonded" portion ended still curly and would need a redo to fix. And I am availing it because this really needs to be fixed; my hair right now doesn't look like worth 400rm. 400rm should be something that could last about 6 months.

It's little better but still not satisfied. sad.gif For the price they charge for a top-up rebonding, I could already have a very nice and straight full rebonded hair in our country that would last more than 6 months. My hair from Number76 was never 100% percent straight and also dry. sad.gif

I'm not sure if it's the chemicals or the process or the skill of the stylist. I had my hair rebonded many times already, almost regularly, hence I am not new to the process. Their rebonding process is quite fast, the only reason you spend so much time in their salon is because the stylists are so busy with so many customers to attend to at the same time. The quality of a rebonding procedure actually depends on the chemicals and the skill of the stylist.

I am not saying you should not go to Number76 because you hair texture and type might be different to me and you could have an entirely different experience. But for me, I would definitely not coming back to Steve Koh of Midvalley branch.

hey babe, perhaps next time you can try my hair stylist, the one that i find him pretty good and patient enough to explain all my annoying question.

i'm quite particular with hair stylist, sometimes just feel they can't really understand our request doh.gif but Jimmy from Celeb Trenz i quite satisfy with, my hair is natural curl, not straight, so whenever i do rebonding it can only last around 8 months but what i did at Celeb Trenz, last for 1.5 year. Feel to rebond my hair again but i don't have free time cry.gif

I read some reviews it seems not bad. The hair is very natural; not so stiff like the normal rebonding.
