Hey peeps, I've always wanted to get a secondary screen but not for gaming. My main purpose of my build now is for gaming, entertainment needs and surfing. Well now, i feel like getting another monitor just to watch movie or surf while i game, purely for surfing and movies. Since im not usIng that monitor to game, is it okay that i connect it to my CPU? Because connecting it to my GPU would affect the performance big time i guess. And will connecting it to the CPU affects my game?

If you do not want your game to be affected (while running the game) then just get another non-gaming desktop PC together with another monitor. This way, you do not have to worry about any game slowdowns and/or hiccups (freeze, accidentally switch back to desktop when notifications pops up, etc). Myself have two machines (one for surfing and another for gaming), but I used a KVM switch so that I can control both machines from a single monitor, keyboard and mouse... icon_rolleyes.gif

I've considered that before. It's still a little bit pricey for me haha although some cheap specs will do for the other machine. But im still looking to upgrade my current specs so probably not gonna happen :/ thanks anyway haha. notworthy.gif
