 Safety way to take off heatspreader?, any idea...?

As topic stated, does anyone has idea to take off the ram heatspreader in the safety way without damage the small capacitor on the pcb? notworthy.gif

wanna change to better cooling.

P/S: the ram is corsair xms with black heatspreader.

IHS on the AMD CPU......

kinda risky....but oni giv a little improvement...and it void ur waranty....

Then you need to be careful. Mostly (especially OCZ) the spreaders are a bit glued to the modules. So pull them off very carefullywith your hand and no tools, changing the position where you try to take them off.

put it in the freezer in air tight wrapping. let it freeze for like 30-mins. then try to pry it when it's cold

I usually remove the stock HSFs from my graphic cards by freezing them (in a plastic air-tight bag) for about 30 mins and then prying the HSFs off the GPU. Never had any problems doing that. Done it for 4 cards already.
