The management really is clueless. Now students in Beta year cant even load the system, lest say register subjects.

If you are going to implement changes so big, don't announce it so last minute. Why not delay the changes to another semester, so we will have the whole of next semester to test use the reliability of the system. Person in charge can even organise seminar for registering instructions instead of a guide like what we have currently. Even a step-by-step video tutorial will be clearer.

Instead of being able to focus on my revision for final, i have to spare out my time to test the new system, learn how to use it. And tomorrow i may need to sit in front of my computer waiting for the system to load.

I want to ask whoever take a computer science course. Next semester is my second year in computer science in software engineering. I plan to change my specialization between informatic system or game development.

I do some research about specialization subject randomly between all three specialization. I look through their slide note and tutorial. I found out SE and IS not really learn to do programming but more to theory that student needs to remember. I'm not that good in memorize things. I just want to learn how to code. I thought at first SE is more to learn how to code but i'm wrong. Its more to learn the process how to develop a good software.

I want to know the others student opinion and experience taking each of these specialization before i make a decision. Feel free to comment 

hmm...you like engineering? if you don't have passion u gonna suffer in MMU..mmu engineering is one of the toughest in Msia, though u still can survive it if u really work hard..n now they keep cmg out new policy, if u fail subjects u gonna have some hard times..
how's ur diploma result? fit enough for scholarship? there r a lot scholarship offered out there, if u dun mind getting bonded there r even more, put some effort there..

basically, PTPTN dun care ur sch feel, they jus giv u the amount, if the amount more than the fee, then u got pocket money, if not, u gotta cover the remaining. example, when i took engineering in mmu, the total cost is around 46k. n i got 66k , meaning i gt xtra 20k.but since now the fee is up to nearly 70k, i doubt u hv any.

n btw, hving a dilpoma won't make u straight go to gamma year, u can only do credit transfer...n since not every subject being offered every sem, u might have to take maybe 3yrs+ to graduate as well.

hmm..never try never know...how about UTAR? there should be cheaper i guess?

Hmm.true, people learn more in MMU .however the sad truth is that HR ppl don't really care..a 1st cls from a soso uni might be better than a 2nd clss from prestigious uni

speaking of working hard..yea, it is true. though the benchmark is a little bit higher in mmu than others, without hard work 1 cnt survive out there too

hmm.guess never will, u gotta move to US or europe for that..not even SG (in engineering field)

haha, but I gotta let them know that MMU degree is harder to get than other places...especially when mmu cmg out a lot of new rules to ensure people following course structure..sounds like government, focus on enforcing rule so that people will cope with the situation, but not focus on how to improve the quality..There are always good lecturers, but also ******* lecturer too..

I do agree on that, and I myself is perfectly fine with that. However you can't expect everyone will be reaching there, having the attitude. There is a bell curve for human being as well. I am happy when I see myself and majority of the students graduate safely , however we should not neglect there are people who stuck in the system, and suffer there, wasting money and time, while they can actually achieve more if they were not here.
Yes you can't create something out of nothing, but again you can't expect everyone to have 1 in= 1 or bigger than 1 out.
though again still back to hard work and attitude..hahahaa

however if you know you are less than 1 in to = 1 out, u gotta work harder than people.that is.

but i do know some people work very hard, but not sure study method wrong or what, always cnt scroll in exam..really pity them.

too bad even having loa and financial problems, u still need to pay mmu due to new policy iinm. LOL

  till today no news at all from finance department for my case. i suppose they are too busy to even check a payment for me.

Maybe the level of toughness between mechanical engineering and management course is vastly different. Even in my second year, I still feel form 6 is so much tougher than what I'm learning now. So, I dun see people giving excuses saying they couldn't passed the subject. Sadly, most mmu students taking management are not really interested in studies. You can clearly see it the way they do their assignment.
