from what i gathered, plasti dip should be a cheaper alternative to proper paint and for people to get creative through DIY

as we are not in the US, the supply is quite limited = expensive. per can USD7 here > RM50

also getting proper tools to DIY dip a whole car would be difficult

having said that, DIY plasti dipping small parts of the car as a hobby is fine

anything beyond that, not worthy yet.
