i just get myself a GA-300-1A Metallic Shadow Black at city chain, no discount no offer m rm499... online i saw rm399 but no stock.

survey few weeks already about g shock watch, by plan is purchase another model de, but when i goto city chain i saw this watch poster... i was like love at first sight... ask the promoter bring it out , test a while and return back, then see another watch, i guess the promoter also not expect me will by watch, as i also not expect myself will buy it that time... just my wife beside approach me just proceed if want to buy..hahaha...

Plus have you guys seen those cheap (fake maybe?) GW-3000s being sold so cheap @ taobao? As low as only 330 Renminbi only... looked so authentic/genuine!

did u ever bought stuff from taobao? i personally bought a lot of phone accessories from taobao, whatever they mentioned is "Original", it does mean original, more importantly, look at the feedback of customers and how many units sold out, i won't consider if the units sold is 0

I'd bought tonnes of stuff from eBay, amazon, aliexpress, lelong... No experience with taobao... I'm not saying anything bad about taobao, just that the price is too good to be true...

i think you should take a look at g-factory. i've seen this model sitting in the display shelf for a while. maybe a year or two. wanted to buy the 1200B, but no budget at that time. lol

those china website better don buy so expensive stuff... i bought casing from them i also makes complaint, but they are serious about their "5 star" status la... end up 1 win 1 dispute case, 2 case they refund me few usd, 1 pending dispute.... few i gv 5 star... bear in mind that all was just casing, car camera recorder, cctv lens only... if u get a casio watch.... i think better i find at pasar malam 1.

eh nice le...how come i didnt see it that day... i bought the other colour last saturday.

For this model, there were 2 straps choice available. Mostly are resin and there were those aluminium or adonized aluminium strap as well.
Anyway, good purchase. What's your damage ? hehe...

Yup you're right, it is a matte black band. I got it for RM650

As for the functions, I can say satisfied with it for the 1st time owning a G-Shock watches

lol bro, i have to say, u are so lucky enough to buy this one, my budget is also around 3xx too and ended up buying gr8900 series, regret now should have research more before buying, now there are few models that quite attract me
