Too many AVENGERS movie card till it took Spiderman;s place. How come? Spidey is our neighbourhood hero...how can miss?

Yup2...i noticed the trend. Special card always the last one and 5 stars very high chance its a special. Once I opened a pack and huh? 4 cards only? Later go back recheck..mirror foil sticking to the last card.

This special card placement also found in MATCH ATTAX and FORCE ATTAX cards.

I got normal Dark Phoenix card but the rainbow foil version looks hawter.

Guys, I have a HERO Quiksilver character card but I have another Quicksilver who is part of a team as VILLAIN. Both card also have different character illustration.

EMMA Frost also as VILLIAN...dem, last I checked she was smooching with Cyclops in the comics current storyline.

Those Rainbow foil (RF), for me, is hard to score cuz its either RF or Avengers movie cards. Already scored 2 pics of AVengers Bruce Banner in different pose. Wish limit to one while offer us more of Black Widow.

Ha ha...i agree. TOPPS pakai tembak the stats je. IRON MAN RF both attack and defense 100!

I did tried your method of scoring the special cards...so far all mirror foil only my luck. Some shops i patron already mixed up the packets.

Orestes, which RF and MF card you have duplicates?

Mirror can still have chance to complete. Rainbow Foil subset...those are even higher challenge. To get them is a bonus to me. Cant wish to ever complete those RF.

Went to KDU Msian Games and COmic Con last Sat. Played PS3 Marvel vs. Capcom 3...rejuvenate my Marvel card collection..every character is awesome!

I learn from bearbrick sifu. Chase figure or cards is an added bonus. If you get em is blessing. Or else dun know how many packets we have to continue to tikam before able to complete those wicked subsets.

Am considering ordering the recent Marvel Masterpieces by Upper Deck but I dunno how most of the cards fare.

I have the 2nd MM and 3rd MM hildebrant bros series. Afterwhich I kinda slow down. When scrolling thru AMazon, I noticed new MM series published by Upper Deck which were know for Sports Cards like NBA and NFL. I will do more research.

Hah..I oso been to that shop once during the comic boom days. I got few X-Men Chromium packs there too.

Besides Mind Shop, I oso buy trading cards from Final frontier, Comics Corner, DCM Enterprise and a comic store in TTDI and also Atria. But all gone bust except Mind SHop and COmics Corner. Nowadays they more into gaming trading cards.

SkyDisc..are those the ones which can create a holo image when shine torch light on it?

One of the early old skool hologram. This must be a VVHTF special card. U had it framed in special casing too.

Yup. Your holo is 3D type...daytime is best to view it.

Infortunately some of my 3D holo cards kinda "deteriote" over the years. Some tint became darker till all pitch black while some grew funny dots on the surface.

My X-MEn Chromium cards also tukar warna...sucks.

Back then we were more interested in Marvel related cards than DC. But nowadays I prefer reading DC comics. Only 2 out of 10 guys I know back then were into DC trading cards. I remember that Superman holo card. It has Superman using his x-ray vision to peep on Lois.

Old skool holos are my favourite but i agree that the subsequent holo foil or holo flash are impressive. Must see under sunlight or UV light for best effect.

And those 3D skymotion cards are marvellous...i can see slightly further images on the sides. These are hard to come by. Back then have to buy a whole trading card box to get the Skydisc...i know some comic shop took those bonuses and pretend it didnt came with the shipment.
