ALL-IN-ONE SOLUTION
Unlike all other dedicated electronic musical instruments and workstations, MiKo LXD’s optimized Windows 7™ OS natively supports virtually any music application or plug-in developed for a PC.

MiKo LXD is equipped with the new Bump MP™ integrated drum module, designed to allow the user to create beats and trigger any sound, loop or sample in real-time. Enhanced with a special Open Labs version of Guru™ from FXpansion™, key features of the Bump MP include: (16 plus 1) fully assignable pads, note repeat, fixed level fader, transport controls, chromatic mode, hold, pad tune, multiple groove preset and eight engines with 24 patterns per engine. This also allows up to 512 step sequences per pattern.

MiKo LXD is also equipped with the new Open Labs Mix/Edit controller. The mixer section consists of multiple fully assignable controls including: (8) encoders, (8) lighted buttons, (8) faders, (bankable) and (1) master volume fader. The edit section consists of multiple, fully assignable controls including: (8) encoders, (1) LCD display (for encoders), (4) buttons and (4) banks (total of 32 control parameters).

Riff is an entirely new concept in virtual instrument hosting. Written from the ground up by Open Labs, Riff™ encompasses over six years of live performance and studio production knowledge gathered from some of the world's top artists, engineers, composers, and producers.

Simply speaking, Riff™ is a multi-effect and multi-instrument rack for musicians and sound designers. It is also a VST host that runs as a standalone application.

If you are interested in other software that help you compose music such as Band-In-A-Box 2014, RealGuitar, RealStrat & RealLPC, Ezdrummer, Ezkeys etc I may be able to make a deal with you. (RealGuitar, RealStrat & RealLPC, very useful VST that can produce good guitar strumming by just pressing one note, instead of full chord, ideal for those who can’t play guitar.)

Note that just the software itself in this machine worth a few RMk

Gen6 is the latest version before Open Lab discontinued the product and focus on software instead.
Despite that, you still can get support via their website if you have any product specific problem. Otherwise, you can consider this machine a Windows 7 PC so its easy to get support in any PC shop if you have windows related problem.

The only issues is that there are a few small dust spot under the touchscreen, it is a cosmetic issue and does not affect function. You can send to PC shop to remove the dust spots if you wish.

you can read the manual by searching on google "miko lxd manual" the first pdf in search result is for Gen5 (not much different for gen6)
