yes i asked twice i'm gonna ask again how's the quality of MP Lambo KOs compared to original.

since most people say it's ok for 3rd parties & ko's i guess it's ok.

rm100++, not so cheap, somemore no coins & exclusive parts.

QUOTE(tnsai @ Dec 29 2014, 11:52 AM)
Weren't you against KO and 3rd party discussions?? And do you need to ask twice??

no problem, i asked nicely for 2 post until you showed up, i'm not sure you are the pro KO ones or anti KO ones, anyway i was just asking about the quality, not asking where to buy or encouraging people to buy them. Of course if you say it's good or close to original quality it might encourage people to purchase KO indirectly.

i believe many people bought the KO lambos because those 2 were pretty hard to get even when launch, even on ebay you can't really tell which one is KO which one is original, even those selling at rm300 you have to cast doubts.

NIce attitude. Good luck with getting a reply. I'm definitely putting you on ignore list.

thanks for the clarification bro.

just wondering the alignment is the mold problem or just the way they install the parts? what about the paint aps especially for decal heavy MP14? can't you fix those problems?

QUOTE(VDread @ Dec 29 2014, 01:38 PM)
Just to clarify:-

KO MP12/12T/12G /14 does not come with coin.
KO MP12/12T/12G /14 does come with accessories, even better than the originals (both 12T and 14 have piledriver parts).

Quality is 50-50. You either get something on par with the original, or one that cannot align the parts properly (my KO 14 is near perfect, the 12T however cannot roll on its own wheels).

It's good for customisation purposes, in the event you are unhappy with the original layout by TakTom. Can change the colour of any panels, can mould new parts, can brutalise it for parts etc.

Hasbro MP or TakTom MP -- I'm happy with both. Hasbro offers selected MP's at a lower price point (but less attractive packaging - at least to me), while TakTom delivers better paintjobs (in most cases) and that sleek black boxes.

Here's to hoping a Hasbro release (and reissue) of the two MP11 seekers - Thundercracker and Skywarp.

The going rate for Skywarp for the TakTom MP11SW (current PO price is RM600) is stupidly ridiculous if you ask me, since it lacks the coronation gear of MP11 which I bought for less than RM400 MISB.

I think it's the other way round bro, Hasbro gives you nice big shinny boxes at a slightly premium price while Takara gives a basic skeleton box at more affordable price, but of course don't take Toysrus discounts into consideration. Plus Takara usually comes with more stuffs while Hasbro sometimes you get more stuffs like cassettes sometimes less no trailer.

MP11 uses old mold right?

QUOTE(VDread @ Dec 29 2014, 03:54 PM)
To a certain extent, I agree.

But in respect of the seeker mould (MP11), Hasbro / TRU has been selling it cheaper. Same goes for MP Soundwave, which includes all five cassettes which is a little bit cheaper compared to getting the TakTom MP13 + MP15 + Mp16 combo.

The Hasbro Grimlock (recent reissue) was a let down. Skipped that and went straight for WuKong. (please don't kill / ban me for discussing about purcashing KO's)

btw the extra accessories plier comes inside the box or they pack it like original separate plastic bag? this might help identify real & KO.

QUOTE(VDread @ Dec 29 2014, 03:50 PM)
KO MP14 for me is slightly better painted than my MP12 TakTom. The Autobot is insignia is sharper on the KO MP14 compared to TakTom's MP12. Then again, my MP12 was one of the few that came out early.

On the alignment of panels, I believe it's caused by the mould. This is apparent on the MP12T KO, tried to fix it but to no avail. So I leave it in robot mode most of the time.

No comment on the KO MP12G, as I'm not interested in that one.

do their stock always come with ex parts & coins? i asked some online shops, they say not sure depend on supplier. so i went ahead with my usual seller.

QUOTE(VDread @ Dec 29 2014, 06:54 PM)
MP22 PO Price at the place I bought (FamiToy) was RM460.
Some other place (1Toy) if I am not mistaken are as follows:-
PO : RM480
Retail : RM550.

But I may be wrong. For stocks, try calling Raz of Lil Monsters. He usually orders a few extra. Good luck hunting!

btw those that buy multiple Big stuff must have lots of modal in pocket, MP-22 cheap cheap still need rm480, if it's something like rm150 then different story.

I like your E-Hobby Rodimus & Ultra Magnus, how much they cost? Now if i see those Yellow & Blue Magnus it's always rm700 to rm2k. Rodimus Clear cheaper but still need rm300-500...

QUOTE(putu_mayam @ Jan 9 2015, 11:13 PM)
Below RM500 is cheaper than Hasbro's (or on par, depends who is the seller). Anyhow if it's slightly higher than Hasbro's I think ppl will still go for Takara as the value is better for Japan version.

Just wondering do you guys keep your MP's in Robot or Car mode? So far i think MP lines most of them only look good with the same stance, standing straight one hand with gun the other hand slightly bent. I can't think of any other better looking stance.

BTW anyone has MP-10 & MP-22 lined up in lori mode? I actually prefer their lori mode but they take up too much footprint.

unless there's a few boxes i wouldn't straight away say i want that pointing at that item, it could be reserved, or for display purpose, unless they have a big price sticker on the box, better just ask still have or not.

QUOTE(orestes @ Jan 13 2015, 10:40 AM)
even some ppl.. walk into a shop .. the item he wanted to buy is on shelf..
and while pointing to that item on shelf, ask the shopkeeper "this still have..?"
