Bahaha. Just realised something. The MP Wheeljack collector coin has a typo which reads "Weeljack". Guess they didn't sort that one out.

Fuh, that rear left panel / tail light was badly painted.

Guess I'll stop complaining about my slight smudges then.

I think I saw some of you guys at 1Toy if you guys were there on Saturday evening circa 4.30PM. Lol. Could see some were fiddling with Columpio and was not happy with the way he held the weapons.

Hmm. My short review, based on the unit I got.

Pros:-
1. Alt mode nearly zero panel gaps, and fitment is near perfect.
2. Bot mode is spot on G1 Wheeljack.
3. Joints are sturdy and tight.
4. Plastic quality is good.
5. I think its heavier than MP Prowl.
6. Transformation is fun.
7. Alt mode size, is a bit longer compared to MP Prowl / Lambor.
8. Super stabil, due to large feet.

Cons:-
1. Some units have paint defects.
2. Collectors coin has a typo on the card (Weeljack).
3. Viewed from the side, Wheeljack's alt mode looks as if its hunched.
4. The translucent wings looks as though it can easily break.
5. The side mirror (which has to be detached when transforming) can be easily lost.

FamiToy, VHobby and 1Toy's PO usually come with the Amazon Exclusive item (anti-hypnosis device) and collectors coin.

XL-Shop PO rarely bring together the exclusive items.

The non-PO currently on sale at 1Toy (not sure if theres any unit still left) comes with the exclusive items.

FamiToy PO should be coming in within this week.

Haha. The side mirrors come in two pairs, packed via a model kit-esque runners.

Taking the side mirror of during transformation is not a must, but not sure why the instructions that come with it tells to do so (or I may not understand Japanese to not know what was the actual instructions lol).

Ultra Magnus:
FamiToy seems to be the cheapest, but I'm not sure whether the PO is still open. Last I asked was during the Hari Raya holidays.
1Toy, ToyWiz, XL-Shop and VHobby already closed their PO, but knowing 1Toy, they should be getting advanced shipment and open the earlier stock for non-PO customers at a higher price than PO.

Star Saber:
Same goes as the above. But most shops have their PO still open. Contact them for details on how to PO.

NOTE:
FamiToy doesnt seem to have a proper 'tracking system' of customer's orders, because (1) No deposit is required (2) Orders are made either via WhatsApp or email (3) The shop owners will reply to you with a simple 'OK' or 'Thank You', with no receipt / order number. But they seem to be the cheapest around.

1Toy, VHobby, Toywiz, XL-Shop : Better PO handling with proper receipts and records. But price vary between these shops, and if you miss the PO, price will most likely increase when item arrive especially if the item is a hot seller (case in point, MP-12 Lambor)



Exclusive Items:
Based on my experience buying MPs, only ToyWiz, Vhobby, 1Toy and FamiToy bring in together with the Amazon.JP exclusive item and collector coin. This is usually for PO customer and I think the earlier shipments (as long as they still have stock for the exclusive items).
XL-Shop rarely bring in the figure together with the exclusive items, even if you PO with them.

No wonder! Lol. Read the instructions wrong. Sorry for the confusion!

Just don't get why TakTom didn't simply insert them in first place like the other car MPs.

Ultra Magnus:-

Rumor has it that the Amazon JP exclusive item would be either:-
a) the exchangeable face
b) a 2nd pair of hands
c) a Daniel & Spike figure
One of these could be the exclusive item, while the other two might be packed together with the figure.
Also comes with the collector's coin for Asia market (excluding Japan)

Star Saber:-

Unconfirmed rumors states that the shield is an exclusive item, since it only appeared in the last episode. The shield has been shown to convert to a stand to hold Star Saber in alt-mode. But these are as I said, unconfirmed rumors.

No news on whether a Victory Leo is in the works.

TakTom had previously announced that 2015 is the year of the Decepticons, so I'm hoping that a MP Megatron that scales with MP-10 OP is in the works. And maybe Shockwave (since I missed out on FT Quakewave), Reflector and those early Decepticon characters.

Im thinking of letting go of one of my MP-20 Wheeljack (MISB condition with box never opened, but no Coin / Amazon.jp item). Will throw in a RM20 cash voucher for XL Shop, which is usable until 28/12/2014.

Reason for sale : I PO'd mine at XL Shop, but bought another unit at 1Toy for the Collector Coin and Amazon.JP item. My wife is a BIT pissed that I have two same figures in my collection (our promise was for me to buy only one of each).

Anyone willing to give this guy a new home?
