Hi guys,
I'm having my wedding dinner at a hotel in May 2015. At the moment the price per table is RM 988++.
Since GST will be implemented starting next year, the hotel event manager told me they will have to make adjustments based on the GST next year. Meaning the RM 988++ price could very well be different.

My question is.. Since I have already paid a RM 3k confirmation deposit, can I nego/deal with the event manager to fix the price regardless of GST implementation?

Also, I have very little knowledge on GST. Once GST is implemented, that means the price for the dinner table will definitely go up right?
Pardon me for my lack of GST knowledge..

Please help. I would really like to save as much as I can if possible. Just wanted to check with u guys here before I approach the event manager.
