QUOTE(cristiano7mu @ Sep 16 2007, 11:07 PM) In order for Hamilton to get WSC, he at least need to get 2 4th place n 1 2nd place. Lewis perfomance really unconsistant now,he always behind Fernando not like early of the seasonits not easy. But i feel that Alonso will be infront of him for the nx 3 race. btw i dont think Ferrari will always get 1-2 in 3 remaining race, maybe McLaren will win one of the 3 race |

QUOTE(car_o_scope @ Oct 5 2007, 09:07 AM) I heard from the radio that Hamilton might be penalised with a 10 grid penalty at China GP for his causing of the Vettel-Webber crash. Dunno confirm already or not.. FIA still investigate this caseQUOTE Hamilton under investigation over Japan driving Formula One stewards in Shanghai are examining new evidence concerning Lewis Hamilton's driving behind the safety car in last weekend's rain-swept Japanese Grand Prix. The McLaren star was leading the pack awaiting a restart when the two cars immediately behind him - Mark Webber's Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel's Toro Rosso - collided, putting both out of the race. Webber and Vettel both hinted that erratic driving from Hamilton had played a role in their shunt. Video footage is understood to show the championship leader moving to the right of the track and slowing immediately prior to the accident, in which Vettel ran into the back of Webber's car. "It definitely contributed to Sebastian hitting me up the back because he (Hamilton) wasn't doing what he was supposed to be doing (behind the safety car), clearly," Webber told Thursday's FIA press conference in China. Vettel was penalised for his part in the accident and is due to drop ten places on the grid for Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix. http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2007/10/6923.html |

QUOTE(long3016 @ Oct 7 2007, 06:08 PM) no. this race Alonso use new engine coz last week he crash. Hamilton will use new engine and Alonso stick with the engine he use in China no la,engine rules is one engine per two race, mean every driver can use new engine for 1st,3rd,5th.....13th,15th and 17th race,Brazil is 17th race so all driver can use new engine |

Mosley: FIA to go through 2008 McLaren with fine-tooth comb
FIA President Max Mosley has said Formula One racing's governing body will rigorously examine next season's McLaren to ensure it does not contain intellectual property obtained from Ferrari. McLaren were stripped of their 2007 constructors' points and fined $100 million earlier this season after being found guilty of benefiting from possession of confidential Ferrari data. Although no proof of its use was found in the design of the team's current car, Mosley wants to provide reassurance that it does not feature in next season's either. "We want to play fair with McLaren, but want to give the other teams and the public the guarantee that the new McLaren is not built upon Ferrari information," said Mosley. "We are now facing the situation of going through the '08 McLaren with a fine-tooth comb. And we are not speaking about a single component but of the incorporation of intellectual property and ideas in order to solve technical problems." Mosley described the case as still "wide open and very difficult", but said he hoped it can be closed at a meeting of the FIA's World Motor Sport Council on December 7. Asked to hypothesize on what might happen if the new McLaren were found to contain Ferrari material, Mosley added: "As penalty I could imagine sending McLaren into the '08 season with a minus of championship points as is used in soccer - or exclude the team for the whole season." http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2007/10/7015.html This post has been edited by faris21: Oct 21 2007, 09:22 PM |
