I normally regard manufacturing in EVE to be of 3 tiers:
Tier 1: T1 manufacturing. Basically you produce the T1 items from fully researched BPO and you sell to T2 manufacturers who's manufacturing slots are more efficiently used to product T2 stuff. An offshoot from this tier is rigs manufacturing which you can just sell directly to market. Tier 2: You produce Tech 2 components that basically converts moon mat into components for tech 2 parts (i.e. Tungsten Carbide Armor Plates, Scalar Capacitor Units & etc). For this, you basically need the proper skills to manufacture these stuff. For those of you who wants to manufacture first (and not bother with invention), this is the route to go. Tier 3: You invent, and then you build the complete Tech 2 ships/modules. If you're in this tier, you buy your components, raw mats etc from market and just focus on churning out the modules (yes, you can build everything from scratch but your time to market will be much longer and you might be more vulnerable to market changes). This tier is the same if you are producing Tech 3 so grouped both as Tier 3 manufacturing. So for new players who wants to dabble in manufacturing, move from Tier to Tier and you might even find suitable Tier 3 manufacturer to supply your Tier 1 product to at a fixed price. This is a good way to start up a small corp that does their own mining, build T1 modules and sell to Tier 3 producers and if mineral prices took a dip, just buy off the market. Anyway, there are many ways to play the game and what I've illustrated above is just a suggestion and may be used as a reference to new players. EVE in 3rd page? No way!
Anyway, House of Nim-Lhach still recruiting SEA pilots. Also, we are opening a high-sec corp for newbies from the same region to group up so you can run tutorial missions etc together. As of now we already have 2 newbie from Indonesia awaiting to sign up. So any Malaysians/Singaporeans who wants to join up let us know. |

Hello again people.
For House of Nim-Lhach, we tax 10% as we are a null-sec entity and we do all nullsec stuff like gate camp, roam, joining CTA, grow fat in -1.0 space, nullsec politics, trade, explore, PI and stuff. Currently we are on combat deployment. As for the new high-sec corp Host of Quel-Heren (H-QH), tax rate is set to 0% (Seriously, the tax on newbies are quite negligible for us to want to tax you =.=). Again, this is a platform for people from the same region/time-zone to gather and have a chance to fly together. We will also give you access to our TS3 server so you can talk to us directly (note: we don't always reply in the in-game channel because we have to watch local etc in null sec). Thorodin: You need to train up your tanking and fitting skills that improve your powergrid, CPU, tanking resistances prior to joining us in null. However, you are free to join the Host of Quel-Heren. Red Streak: Personally I recommend playing via subscription through Steam. PLEX prices are bloated and unless you have a lot of time playing, it takes about 7-8 hours solid playing to earn a PLEX. You'll eventually feel like you work for CCP and burn out. Special Note: For those of you who don't know, corp tax rate only applies to ratting bounties and does not apply to anything you buy or sell in the market (of which NPC corp tax rate as well as broker fees applies). So, if you are exploring, mining or trading, you don't get taxed by the corp but if you are running incursions or missions, then yes you get taxed. Well, again, House of Nim-Lhach (HN-L) is currently starting a highsec corp called Host of Quel-Heren (HQ-H) which is a tax free corp for Malaysian, Singaporean, Thai, Indon and other people of the same TZ) to join up so there's someone for you guys to fly with.
FYI, we intent to hand corp management to you guys so you can tailor the corp to your needs and when you're ready for null sec, then you request a transfer to HN-L. Primary reason for this is so that we do not lose SEA players who are new to the game due to boredom or lost of direction. We know it is hard for some of you to make a living in nullsec thus the decision to create a highsec corp and we see how it goes from there (i.e. if you need POSes or other facilities that we can provide). |

Since CCP activated unlimited slots for invention, copying and manufacturing, running a POS is becoming less profitable. Moreover, CCP have not implement security features for materials and BPOs in POS. Thus, POSes are more suitable for operations in stationless system or moon mining/reactions purposes.
We don't mind funding a small tower but we won't run it so HQ-H members will have to do the logistics independently. |

Hmm, odd, after I clicked it, there are still no corp forums available, is it a topic on its own?
Edit: After trying for umpteenth time, finally managed to get it to work. It's supposed to start working by 8th but CCP delayed it. This post has been edited by sikongma: Feb 9 2015, 02:42 PM |

Highsec should be a picture of some robber killing the baby and gets sniped by the police later on.
Low sec... I don't know what to say but the Mad Max pic should be more suitable here. 0.0 very true WH space... the true unknown. Logistical nightmare for corp management. |

Last I checked steam still cheaper. Cheapest is to buy 12 months subscription. 2nd cheapest is to buy 12 PLEX. Both are still cheaper than if you buy directly from CCP.
As for free stuff for newbies, if you do newbie missions, you'll get more than enough free stuff. We used to hand out free stuff to new members but we find that if people don't work of what they want, they get bored and leave the game so yeah, go work for it. In HN-L we provide free T1 cruisers for PVP prefitted with T2 modules and as of yesterday we are also providing Harpies to members who can fly them. We're not good pvp-wise but we don't stop trying to be good. For those of you who wants to know, our highsec corp is called Host of Quel-Heren (HQ-H). Only newbies under 3 months old are in there and we move the guys to join HN-L as soon as they are ready. |

QUOTE(mrhulk @ Apr 20 2015, 03:59 PM) It is simple, as the corp recently obtained control of over 80 T2 BPO we need the security of being able to lock the BPO. House of Nim-Lhach shares was owned by Shu Jia/Fronty Jia and we request the shares to be transferred to the 3Cs (CEO, Chancellor and Chamberlain). After waiting for about 2 weeks without response, we decided to start Raging Tapirs (BTW, Happy World Tapirs Day) and lock down all T2 BPOs in it. One day after everything is done, Fronty came back and transferred the shares to 4 people (instead of requested 3). By then, we've decided not to go through the motion of voting to unlock 80+ bpos, then voting to lock the BPOs again etc. thus we continued with the plan and transfer to the new corp. Basically it's the same management, same crew.Note: For those who have not tried corp management interface, it is hell to vote to lock BPO and hell to vote to unlock BPO due to absolutely crappy interface provided by CCP. For those who have, please go to EVE forums and lambast them for us. |

CCP will somewhat revamp role UI today. Reduced number of screen but the base function remains the same.
As for voting mechanism, they can just make what you've voted go away and that'll help reduce 40% of the load (finding which item you've already voted and which didn't). This had been brought up in EVE forums but CCP have yet to do something about it. Let's see how things goes. |

Apparently CCP did the funniest thing during this patch on corp interface improvements:
1) They accidentally granted take access to people who originally had view access. (Now they want us to find out what's lost and report to them). 2) While individual members access screens were improved, title access management screens remains the old interface. This meant for people who manage by title (i.e. HNL/RTAP), there is no difference at all in terms of interface improvements. Ah well. In any case we are moving ahead with taking sov. So need all the muscle we can get. |
