I'm sure a lot of (not all) McLaren fans agree or don't agree Alonso joining McLaren.
Same thing when Montoya joined McLaren.
(Me personally quite ok with Montoya joining McLaren.
Maybe saw what he did with his Williams...a few GP...nearly got WDC)

Maybe can find a survey to see how many McLaren fans agree or not Alonso joining
McLaren?
Any other infos regarding that would be great.

Anyways, thread starter, you have misleading fact. Macca rarely used Finnish drivers. Only Rosberg (Sn), Mika and Kimi.

But with seing Massa's performance...in last few races...pretty good.
Kimi would have no problem making an impression next season.
But...but...next season might strugglin a bit in the early season...like Massa.

Anyway, we can only predict and discuss...we just have to see what's gonna happen
next season.

I'll be more active in Ferrari's thread...to keep an eye on Kimi's performance.
Active too in McLaren's thread...but to see Alonso's downfall and his crappy car tongue.gif
Nevertheless, see what he can do to McLaren just like Prost, Senna and Schumacher did
to their teams...spirit and motivation.

We'll see how many McLaren fans will be heating up the new thread tongue.gif

Since quite a few not happy Alonso's joining McLaren...no doubt about that.

Same feeling when Montoya joins McLaren (which quite drool.gif for me as for his

Hecks...even more Ferrari fans (64.8%) compare to McLaren fans (21.6%) in the LYN Formula One 2006 season thread.

won't hate him like now.

Ferrari looks so menacing...the fastest car.
We'll see how others do with the Bridgestone tyres next season.

The ones that can turn around the team (like Ferrari did on the mid of this season)

IMHO, actually Ferrari did nearly manage to snatch it away but failed by silly mistakes of Michael and the Ferrari team.
If Ferrari win...it would be close.

exactly my point la. even with all of mclaren's improvements throughout the season and having the fastest car at the end of the season, a poor start to the season screwed everything and no, kimi did not ever top the WDC.
