Is 1 gb enuf for no lag experience on win phone 8.1?

512mb ram is enuf with no lag experience for a daily drive device for windows phone..
1gb is more than enuf....

is 512 mb could support file transfer through VPN while playing emulator game?
or need 1 gb?

please don't consider 512mb.
some apps don't support 512mb devices.
should at least get 1gb.

mostly games..
that's why i said, for a daily driver device, it was sufficient....

just to be safe, get 1gb device at least.
sometimes, there are also apps that didn't support 512mb ram devices on the initial release.
takes a few updates from the developer to optimized their apps before it can support them.
being on windows phone, it is normal to have to wait.

Hi again fellow WP users, I have another enquiry. Do any of you use a non-original micro USB cable when connecting to your computer?

I bought a non-ori one but it repeatedly disconnect and reconnects when plugged to my laptop. I tried on another computer, connection is stable but when the screen dims (just before it turns off), it will become bright again and the cycle continues non stop.

I no longer dare to use the cable, but I'm looking for one that is longer than the originals which are so short.

u can find if there is any at garage sales

try to use only original cable, no matter which phone brand it is. stop using unbranded cable from pasar malam, becoz the cable might not properly made to resist unstable current.
