yeah b1tches,the "sequel?" for the one of the great BFV mods.

I've been monitoring its developement since last year,and its coming out THIS CATURDAY!!!

The server side files are available for download now,so that there will be servers up and running by the time the client side files are released.

Unlike PR,this is a total conversion mod.They modify all the sounds and added new skins,vehicles and pretty much everything.The army factions in this game are mostly european countries,from the trailer i could see germany and some eastern european countries,but who gives a shit?

so anyone here is going to download this awesome mod?
I've already seen a couple of aussie servers that are hosting this mod,in the PoE forums.

there isnt much good SS in the homepage,since most of it are still the ones from the early developement stages.Heres one,it is fine too

And it runs better than vanilla BF2 although it looks much better.

Interesting. Is there any option for single player? Haven't got the original, but I will once FH2 is out. Because BF2 is just not worth RM120, but FH2 will be.

not Project Reality realistic,but compared to vanilla its much more realistic,in terms of vehicles and weapons

The weapons now do not have the crappy random bullet deviation as seen in vanilla,where most of the time its a shoot and pray situation.Leading is possible in this mod.The .50 cal sniper rifle is actually a 1 hit kill now and more accurate.

As for the vehicles,the tanks moves and reloads faster in this mod.I love the mouse guided missiles for the APCs,tanks are no longer a complete threat to them,and one missile takes a huge chunk of health off the tank.Not to mention the AA missiles are way better now.

Like in DC,there are a couple of verily strong weapons can be picked up from certain main bases.That includes an anti material rifle,a rocket launcher,a handheld anti air and a heavy MG in some infantry maps

Sadly, this mo is only for online gameplay. However, since this is only V1.0.0, if the fans express interest in including singleplayer maps, you might see SP maps later.



Yea, and they have the same type of ammo selection for tanks as well. Not as varied, but more realistic.

I tried it today and I must say Im very impressed.

One thing though. How the hell do you call in arty? It keeps saying wait 10 seconds before calling.

After you put the coordinat,Switch to walkie talkie(no.8,if only your kit has them).And then,you can see artillery beacon on ur map.
IF there is some1 in the artillery vehicle,he will get a nice overhead image.
He can also watches his shell travel.

its works the same way as the artillery system used in BF1942,only a few additional steps.

Just spot your desired bombardment area with the binoculars,then switch to the walkie-talkie and press it.The area will now covered with a big artillery icon in the minimap.

From there,IF you are in an artillery,switch to the GPS system by scrolling your mousewheel or press the "F" button.You should have a jesus's perspective of your target,from there fire the first shot and see where your shell lands,then make some adjustment and fire untill you get it right.

I like the AA mode (BF1942 style and I love it, really powerful don't play play). Arty mode haven't try yet but the jet firing mode need times to get use with it.

Last nite I artied lot of my friends instead of enemy...
and then got kicked ..

The tank is super-duper fragile in this mod. With a single tank I manage to destroy 3 tanks by aiming their thread and 1 hit kill to all. But as easily as owning ppl, 1 single shot anti-tank missile fried my tank. The chopper is quite weak too, a single hit from tank... bomb!! Dunno was it a lucky shot or what.

Can you imagine using AA to owning others tank?

You so gay last nite, aim at me only. Some more it was my first time playing PoE2 and don't know how to use the artillery. Don't know where's the artillery barrage also.

True. But it is also fast and agile. The chopper feels really sluggish and slow IMHO.

As for the arty tank, yeah it feels good letting of a barrage on infantry. I managed to wipe out an entire squad after spotting them on an open field in the highway to hell map. Nearly had an orgasm watching their bodies fly up into the sky like that.

Thus the virtue of a pop-up attack. Really, not much reason to be dancing around in open view.

I dont remember choppers going down with one tank shell.
Since there is a map where a chopper spawns on a frontline base.The tanks and APCs from the opposition like to camp near the base,and bombard it when the chopper tries to take off.IIRC,it managed to take off inches from the helipad before being turned into a scraped metal.

If you want to avoid the embarassment of being destroy by a tank,just switch to your Anti Armor missiles,and nail them from a distance.It auto locks and is surprisingly accurate.The chopper is very vulnerable when its doing a rocket pod attack run.

I remember i kept killing these two guys from an Aussie clan with my tank while they were helo-ing the day you and me started playing PoE2.

My tank is POWAAARRR. challenge me soon.
I love their physics law, suit my playing style.

Thetanks are actually faster now. They're closer to the speed of RL tanks.

had my first-time last nite... was playing with some of u guys in UH server... but is it me, or the server kinda "laggy" (even tho ping is around 70).

my victims always died 1 sec after i shot em.

& the TV guided.. its damn fast.. sweet!

same as me. I shoot, then that guy died 1 sec later. I use tank and shoot the nearest vehicle. Its go through, didn't hit at all. WTH

My ping was 100-105 average but the game play is smooth as silk except when around 10ppl fighting around the flag then it will be a bit jerky, can't shoot properly.

And is there really no third person view when driving vehicle? I keep pressing F10 nothing happen. Kinda difficult to manoeuver in a Jeep with first person view.

i love the T55 tank.. green badass tank . never had the chance to try out the hind yet. but the chopper in this game owns

No movable turret for the Hind, which makes it sad. THe gun fires only forward. BUt you get to fire off 64missiles at once which is 1337!

FYI,the tank weak points in this mod is same as vanilla

the rear is the weakest among all,you could inflict massive damage.

You can also actually know when ppl hit your tank at a wrong angle, the shell will deflect. I had around 4 hits from another tank from quite a distance away and the shells bounced off my turret! It never happened to me before in vanilla BF2!!!

Get to use F10 eventually. The mod are really kick-ass. Feel like a total new game altogether. Got quite a few low ping servers to play too. However, still getting use to the weapons, feel quite different with vanilla BF2 in aiming and shooting.

Well... I just pickup my sniper kit back, since I have stopped after MoH.

Add in another point.
Too many sorhai (team mates-lah,) run into your claymores. Sian each round sure got some -ve points.

no,there are no ranked servers for mods at the moment.

I thought PoE servers were unranked?

I did play once in a ranked server but I din really go count how many points I got and dun bother whether it will be recorded in my BF2 stats.
