QUOTE(aminar @ Aug 11 2014, 04:48 PM) This is where I often stay the last time, and they don't dissapoint.Cater to Singaporean travellers on a weekly basis, and iinm belongs to a Singaporean owner, so you can be sure that the standards are really high. Surprisingly, I find that the price isn't too expensive. Food spread is really delicious, especially noon lunch. Chalet is really nice, and has that local touch. Beds and chairs are mostly handmade out of wood and bamboos right behind their resort. Beach is amazing! And its very nice to stroll along the beach where shops and houses and scuba centers are abundant. At the end of the walk, you have the jetty to hang out and just enjoy the breeze or watch the fishes clear as crystal under the water. Night time is lively with local shops selling some burgers or ala-carte food at reasonable price. Expensive? Definitely not, just slightly by a few cents compared to mainland. I can talk all day about Tioman...but I guess you just have to see for yourself. PAYA BEACH RESORT |
