I usually sync everything as i need them, like Gmail and Goofle account for contact sync and location..also for my browser from phone to pc..i found that turn on Sync does not drain your battery much

Im not sure wether you guys do realize this or not, but i came from NC1(Malaysian) firmware, flash to NE7(Malaysian) yesterday through Odin. I noticed that samsung have re-enabled the Charging-While-Off function where it was removed before since the early entry of 4.4.2 firmware. Its a good news tho

As usual. Its because there's too much samsung bloatware's to be cook'ed again to fit Android L (4.4.4). Thats what delays them in releasing 4.4.4 firmware.

Sony firmware? As light as it can get. I love them UI's and such.

Honestly speaking, i just sticking with this S4 because of the Octa-core and the camera. Other than that nothing special.

When i first get my hands on sammy device, i will get it rooted and flash my own version of rom.
One tip to release urself from the sluggish UI, is dont use the Touchwiz launcher, thats a start

That depends, flash a rom which is less mods (especially less S5 based apps). Like when im baking my own rom, i just use S5 apps like Gallery//VideoPlayer//Messaging//Mail, which is, does not need a libs(library) porting. Directly after flash, make a nandroid backup for that freshly flashed rom, then starts playing with some init.d script tweaks

For AOSP/AOKP based roms, need some readings before flashing. The only AOSP based roms that i loved is PA(Paranoid Android) rom, but sometimes, they sucks too. That depends.

At last revert back to stock-based custom rom. Due to the functionality, performance wise.

To me S4 camera is quite descent in its 13MP league. Plus, S4 has just been an ancient piece of junk. But still the camera works fine for me.

Bugs? Lol, a free open-source operating system. What can we expect? Even Microsoft Windows holds the biggest security flaws in their system until now. I find myself like to explore things, from bugs -> try to find a solution other than blabbering here and there. But there are some users that dont do these things, then go for Apple iPhone. Even Apple got bugs.

Ozcan Rom v5 seems promising.

Can try Ozcan Rom or Hyper 4m Minimal rom. Ive tried both and they performed well. Now im sticking with Ozcan v5.0
