My tips if you wanna proceed with AOSP, look for SaberMod toolchained Rom. It is indeed use less memory when navigating through UI, like an example those Slimsaberkat builds, but it is discontinued i think. My favourite rom is always of those with JustArchie's mod.

Slimsabermod always the best for me, but for 2nd option I always put the most stable ones, based on my observation it is always been Carbon-rom/Nameless/Slimkat. Pure CM11 is good too but boring right?

GE rom is not my cup of tea due to lack of features, that's all. Not like it was slow/laggy. Just features.

All those rom you can check in Original/Android, most of them is available in Unified section.

Sim card slot faulty i think, buy pure spirit(alcohol), use soft brush, dunk the brush with alcohol and rub it at the sim card slot area. Make sure the phone in Off condition, and make it dry before turning it on

Sux to be them, root does not involve any of those hardwares. Root > Slowly hardware spoilt? Lulz.

If you go through the video closely, all the system apps that guy opened during that review have that Dynamic Status Bar/Tinted status bar design, except the Dialer app? What the heck was that. I think they forgot to update the dialer app with that features

With Xposed, everything is possible

If you proceed to flash firmware through Odin, internal storage + external storage data will not be deleted. Only your system and apps is restored to factory like state.

You need to fully utilize the root permission. Privacy Guard > Greenify > Disable Services

Once you flashed through Odin, your phone is back to factory settings. Yes need to re-root again.

The last one i tested was Alucard, just set to Battery profile in Stweaks, i managed to get 5Hrs SOT easy after 3 full charge cycle

Alucard is the best governor for that particular Kernel. Set Hotplug to Alucard Hotplug.

My setup :
- Alucard Govn All cores
- Alucard Hotplug
- ROW scheduler
- Undervolt each frequency clock by 50mV, can go over 75mV or more.
- I/O speed to 2048

Download and install BetterBatteryStats above, install, when you open it the first time it will prompt to install as System app, just proceed and Reboot.

Once you installed the apps above, let your phone idle for as long as you can, overnight is better. Then after long hours, open the app and check all pages for wakelocks or any.

In my assumptions, this could be:

1)Phone wakelocks
2)Wifi wakelocks
3)Google Play Service

From your screenshot, looks like it is not Philz CWM recovery, might be old version of CWM or stock samsung recovery. Can you explain what is your steps from the beginning? So we can trace back which part that sux u up

From your screenshot, i assume CWM Philz recovery is not installed?

If you followed the steps from first page, you will know CWM Philz recovery.
