Hi Sifus,

I have this problem in my condo, there are water coming out from the master bedroom floor, the water keep coming out after mopping but stop after accumulated certain volume. I brought a plumber to investigate but he is not sure where the leak is and he told me he never experiance this type of leak in his career.

I checked with management office that the lower unit tenant never complain about water leaking from ceiling and below the floor there is no water pipe concealed.

Anyone with this experiance before and what is the remedy? Anyone know any good plumber can recommend please?
Condo in Kepong area.

Many Thanks

and you can check the spot which started the leaking by wiping dry the whole floor. and monitor where does the leakage/water starting from.

the wall is dry and no water stain otherwise we would have known it is the leak from bathroom. Plumber checked all the water pipes connectors in kitchen and bathroom but no leak can be found.

The leak come from the floor, no trace from the bathroom, no water pipe underneath.

Definitely there is some pipe leaking, the water from the leaking will then flow through any spaces between your floor slab and come out from the spaces that it can find... I have this exp before but luckily only within bathroom.. It is best if you know how is the concealed piping runs..

buy at least 10 units of floor fan to blow it, make sure you open it 24/7, I believe your floor will maintain dry all the time.

Close the main stopcork at the meter. drain out the water from tap. Than see got anymore leaking. Beginning still got some leaking as the pipe inside still got water. Need longer time to observe. This can tell is your pipe got leaking or not.

Another is, ask the plumber test the pressure of the piping.

Ask the management for the piping plan. See where the pipe run inside your house. Once determine is your own pipe leaking, you can trace the nearest pipe from the plan.

my houz also kena like this last time. called few plumbers to check, no good news.

until 1 plumber came, he used tissue then he wipe along the tiles grout to check for moisture to detect the source of water. then found out the water came from the side wall from my neighbour.

he was doing house renovation at that time. his contractor accidently drilled and hit the concealed pipe causing the water to leak into my house not his house!

its tedious job but worth it.

I recently also have this problem in my rented condo. Water is like coming out from the tile in the kitchen area.

Anybody else can share your experience with this kind of problem?

Got contact for experienced plumber?

I also had similar problem...water was seeping into the dining area...after checking, source of water was from the bottom edge of the wall....water seeped out from below the tile skirting...There was a pipe behind that wall which broke and caused the leak...

Yours is landed or condo? I suppose you need to hack the wall and replace the pipe? What was the cost?
