so what is the difference between the 1950xt and 1950xtx? clock speeds? the 2ghz ram is xt or xtx?

GDDR 4 doesn't mean system RAM use DDR4 is ready for the market. Maybe in future end-user class machine will have FB-DIMM as server class.....

This would let the gpu act as a physics processor as well. |

better get cheap card and wait for Dx10 card prices to stabilize. midrange Dx10 cards would pawn high end Dx9 cards soon.
